摘要: A method of waking up a device is described. The device can be connected to a first network, comprising an access apparatus via which the device is able to access a second network. The device can include a plurality of network interfaces, and respective addresses, for communication with the access apparatus. The method can include prior storage in a memory accessible by the access apparatus of a correspondence table including a plurality of correspondences between the addresses and at least one parameter identifying the device. When the access apparatus receives a wakeup command with respect to the device, the command including an address, the addresses relating to the device are determined by cross-checking in the table, and the access apparatus transmits to the device at least one wakeup command including a resulting address.

An apparatus of an access point comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry may be configured to encode a PPDU comprising a basic service set identifier of the access point, and encode the PPDU to indicate spatial reuse (SR) delay, SR restricted, or SR not permitted. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the access point to transmit the PPDU.

摘要: A method, an information handling system (IHS) and a data center location system for determining physical locations of devices in a data center. The method includes generating an initial grouping of servers into a plurality of racks based on the at least one of a MAC address or IP address. Each server in a first rack is paired with each other server in communication with a switch aggregator to generate server pairs. The server pairs are transmitted to the respective servers. Each of the servers are triggered to measure and transmit received signal strength indication (RSSI) values for its respective server pairs. Positions of the servers in rows are determined based on the RSSI values. An intermediate grouping of the servers in rows is generated based on the determined positions.

摘要: Techniques are described for analyzing data regarding activity in an IT environment to determine information regarding the entities associated with the activity and using the information to detect anomalous activity that may be indicative of malicious activity. In an embodiment, a plurality of events reflecting activity by a plurality of entities in an IT environment are processed to resolve the identities of the entities, discover how the entities fit within a topology of the IT environment, and determine what the entities are. This information is then used to generate an entity relationship graph that includes nodes representing the entities in the IT environment and edges connecting the nodes representing interaction relationships between the entities. In some embodiments, baselines are established by monitoring the activity between entities. This baseline information can be represented in the entity relationship graph in the form of directionality applied to the edges. The entity relationship graph can then be monitored to detect anomalous activity.

摘要: A PE and a method of forwarding packet are provided. According to an example of the method, when receiving a packet, the PE may determine a vPort associated to a port through which the packet is received. When a forwarding entry adding condition is satisfied, the PE may add a first forwarding entry in a forwarding table by recording the first vPort as an egress port, a source MAC address of the packet as a MAC address and an VLAN identifier of the VLAN associated with the first vPort as a VLAN identifier. Subsequently, the PE may search the forwarding table for a second forwarding entry matching the destination MAC address of the packet and the VLAN to which the packet belongs. The PE may search a port associating relationship table for a port associated to a second vPort in the second forwarding entry to forward the packet.

摘要: Disclosed is a method that includes receiving, at a layer 2 switch, a first message to establish a fast re-switch tunnel between the layer 2 switch and a standby wireless controller and receiving, at the layer 2 switch, a second message to trigger use of the fast re-switch tunnel. The switch receives data and forwards the data to the standby wireless controller through the fast re-switch tunnel. Once MAC tables are updated for the standby wireless controller, the fast re-switch tunnel can be torn down.

摘要: An access point that provides link aggregation is described. During operation, this access point receives a message that may include a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) response with an Internet protocol (IP) address of a gateway for an electronic device to access a network and a media access control (MAC) address of the electronic device. Based on the MAC address and/or at least a characteristic of the electronic device (such as a configuration, a capability and/or an operating system of the electronic device), the access point may determine a different IP address of another gateway for the electronic device to access the network. Moreover, the access point may modify the DHCP response by substituting the IP address of the other gateway for the IP address of gateway in a modified DHCP response. Next, the access point provides the modified DHCP response to the electronic device.

The method comprises: a controller in an SDN network issuing reporting indication information to a forwarding device in the SDN network, wherein the reporting indication information is used for instructing the forwarding device to report, when receiving a message matching a pre-determined message feature, message forwarding information corresponding to the message, and the pre-determined message feature comprises: a source IP address and a destination IP address of a detection message for detecting a path, and a controller identifier of a controller; the controller receiving the message forwarding information reported by a plurality of forwarding devices according to the reporting indication information; and according to the received message forwarding information reported by the plurality of forwarding devices, determining a forwarding path between the source IP address and the destination IP address for the detection message.
