Abstract: A thermoelectric conversion module may include a plurality of n-type thermoelectric conversion elements and a plurality of p-type thermoelectric conversion elements alternating with one another, a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes that alternately connect the plurality of alternating n-type and p-type thermoelectric conversion elements at hot sides and cool sides, and a plurality of case electrodes, each of which selectively connects the first electrodes adjacent to each other, among the plurality of first electrodes. The first electrodes and the case electrodes are configured to be movable relative to each other so that the plurality of first electrodes are electrically connected through the plurality of case electrodes or electrical connections between the plurality of first electrodes through the plurality of case electrodes are disabled according to a relative movement of the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of case electrodes.

Abstract: A device for indirectly cooling a battery module of an eco-friendly vehicle is provided that cools the battery module using an interfacial plate into which a heat pipe is inserted to maximize battery heat emission performance and simultaneously prevent degradation of battery performance. A thermally-conductive interfacial plate in which a heat pipe is embedded by over-molding is disposed between battery cells and a heat sink, which is a condensation unit, integrally connected to an upper end of the heat pipe is disposed in a cooling air flow path to improve contact strength between the interfacial plate and the battery cells. A planar heat emitter is disposed between the battery cells where the interfacial plate is not disposed to heat the battery to a proper-level temperature in a cold-start environment and a low-temperature environment, thereby improving battery performance and preventing degradation in vehicle power.

Abstract: Disclosed is a housing for electronic/electrical that includes an inner panel and an outer panel, a strip of metal plate, and a strip of shape memory material. The inner panel and the outer panel are disposed parallel to each other at regular intervals to define an internal space. The strip of metal plate extends from an inner surface of the outer panel. The strip of shape memory material extends from an inner surface of the inner panel and is attached or detached to/from the metal plate on the outer panel while changing into an original straight shape or a bent shape according to a temperature variation. Here, when the temperature increase beyond a first transition temperature, the shape memory material straightens to form a heat transfer path. At a low temperature environment, the shape memory material bends and is separated from the metal plate to interrupt the heat transfer path.

Abstract: A thermoelectric generator system of an engine is provided and includes an insulating heat protective cover that is mounted within an engine. Additionally, a unit is disposed at an upper end of the heat protective cover to uniformly distribute heat energy to use the heat protective cover mounted at an upper end of an exhaust manifold of the engine to protect a wiring from exhaust heat. Accordingly, heat energy discarded from the exhaust manifold is absorbed to generate electricity using the waste heat discarded from the exhaust manifold without affecting the catalyst to improve the fuel efficiency of the internal combustion engine. Further, heat is transferred by conduction at a particular temperature or greater and heat is transferred by radiation and convection at a temperature less than the particular temperature to increase the efficiency.

Abstract: A thermoelectric generation structure for a vehicle is provided. The structure includes an exhaust manifold into which exhaust gas is introduced and a cover that is disposed within the exhaust manifold and provided with a cooling water microchannel to perform cooling. A magnetic thermoelectric material is mounted between the cover and the exhaust manifold to generate electricity. Additionally, the magnetic thermoelectric material having an adjustable size and shape is used in the thermoelectric generation device by being mounted in the exhaust manifold of the vehicle to minimize the weight and volume to improve the marketability. The electricity is generated by the magnetic thermoelectric material using the spin seebeck phenomenon to improve the fuel efficiency.

The thermoelectric generation apparatus includes a conduction block that has a high thermal conductivity and is disposed between an engine and an exhaust manifold. Abstract: Disclosed is an analysis system and method for visualizing heat conduction of a solid state sample. The analysis system includes a sealed jig chamber, a jig, an air tempering unit, and a thermal image camera. The sealed jig chamber includes a chamber door for opening/closing the jig chamber.
