摘要: A contaminant removal apparatus for windshields includes: driving belts located at both side surfaces of a windshield; a drive unit configured to apply driving force to the driving belts; a wiper assembly located on the windshield; rotary rollers configured to be shifted along the driving belts; idle gears located at ends of the driving belts to change a rotating direction of the rotary rollers; frame connection shafts coupled to both ends of the wiper assembly and located within the rotary rollers so as to contact the idle gears to change the rotating direction of the rotary rollers; and a controller configured to change a rotating direction of the rotary rollers when the idle gears and the frame connection shafts contact.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a photosensor structure including a left photosensor located at the left side of a front windshield of a vehicle viewed from the outside of the vehicle, and a right photosensor located symmetrically to the left photosensor. For example, the left photosensor includes two light reception windows located in a width direction of the vehicle to set a lateral incidence angle having a maximum incidence amount in a left-and-right direction of a light source, a dummy portion located on at least one of the two light reception windows between the two light reception windows to set an incidence altitude having a maximum incidence amount in an upward-and-downward direction of the light source, and light reception units located on lower ends of the light reception windows to measure the amount of light received from the light source through the light reception windows.

摘要: An exterior camera system and a cleaning method thereof are provided. The exterior camera system includes a base unit that is fixed to a vehicle, a housing rotatably coupled with the base unit, and an imaging device including a camera module and having at least a portion inserted into the housing to move in a longitudinal direction of the housing. A wiper is disposed on an inside surface of the housing to face the camera module, and a washer fluid nozzle is disposed adjacent to the wiper. A controller receives a video from the camera module to set a rotation angle of the housing based upon driving conditions of the vehicle and to adjust extension of the imaging device.

摘要: A grip detection system of a steering wheel for an autonomous vehicle, may include an autonomous driving portion which autonomously drives a vehicle; a contact detector which is mounted on a steering wheel of the vehicle, and detects a change in capacitance due to contact between a driver and a steering wheel; a control portion which determines that the driver contacts with the steering wheel if the change in capacitance is received from the contact detector, and generates a warning signal when determining that the driver does not contact with the steering wheel if the change in capacitance is not received from the contact detector; and an output portion which receives the warning signal, and outputs the warning signal to outside.

摘要: A rain sensor has a frost sensing function, and is attached to a windshield glass of a vehicle. The frost sensor includes a casing provided with a frost sensing region formed by recessing a part of the casing to contact indoor air; a light emitting unit that emits light such that the light is incident on the windshield glass; a light receiving unit that receives the light emitted from the light emitting unit and reflected from the windshield glass and the frost sensing region; and a control unit that outputs the light received by the light receiving unit as a control signal and activates a wiper and an air conditioner of the vehicle.

摘要: An exterior camera lens cleaning system for a vehicle may include: a base unit fixed to the vehicle; a housing unit configured to be rotatable with respect to the base unit; a camera unit including a camera module, the camera unit at least partially inserted into the housing unit and configured to move in a longitudinal direction of the housing unit; a wiper disposed on an inside surface of the housing unit so as to face the camera module; and a control unit configured to receive video data through the camera module, to control a rotation operation of the housing unit based on a state of the vehicle, and to control an extension operation of the camera unit. The camera unit may be interlocked with the housing unit, and when the housing unit is rotated by the control unit, the camera unit may be configured to move horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the housing unit.
