摘要: A fan type chemical diffusing apparatus includes an apparatus main body having an air inlet and an air outlet, a fan type blower disposed in the apparatus main body, and an active ingredient impregnated body or mass for containing an active ingredient. The fan type blower includes a fan casing, a motor, and a fan including a rotary disk and a plurality of blades fastened to a peripheral portion of the rotary disk and provided with a hollow space that is on an interior of the fan with respect to the blades. The fan type blower is operable to send air from the air inlet through the hollow space and out through the air outlet.

摘要: Collation can be carried out at a high speed without reducing the accuracy thereof, whereby processing of identifying documents is accurately performed at a high speed. To this end, characteristic data of a predetermined pattern is registered in advance. Characteristic data in a first area greater than an area of the predetermined pattern registered in advance in an image to be identified is compared and collated with characteristic data of the predetermined pattern. A second area smaller than the first area is cut out from the first area based on the result of comparison, so that characteristic data of an image in the second area is compared and collated with the characteristic data of the predetermined pattern, thus making it possible to identify the predetermined pattern contained in the image based on the result of comparison.

摘要: An image collating apparatus and an image collating method, in which a document larger than an image reader can be collated using a preregistered image even in the case where the document is read by the image reader, are disclosed. The image of the document read by the image reader is collated sequentially with the document images of different sizes preregistered in a data base. The document size is determined from the document image input from the image reader. In the case where the document size is smaller than the preregistered image size, the preregistered image is retrieved in accordance with the document size, so that the document features are extracted and matched between the read document image and the registered image set in size to each other, thereby collating the read image with the preregistered image.

摘要: A blower type chemical diffusing apparatus is small in thickness, simple in structure, and reduced in cost. The apparatus allows the chemical and a battery to be exchanged readily and facilitates electrically connecting the battery to the motor in the blower. The apparatus casing includes a first and a second side casing counterpart hinged together to allow opening and closing. The apparatus further includes a blower with a motor and fan mounted in the first casing body. A chemical cartridge is disposed between the blower and the second casing body, and contains a chemical impregnated body which includes a carrier in the form of a sheet impregnated with the chemical. The first casing body has a battery accommodating recess in which dry cells are removably accepted to drive the motor and thereby to rotate the fan. Air is thus forced to flow through the chemical cartridge.
