Processing time for switching discharge destinations can be reduced by providing a first acquisition unit configured to acquire a first parameter indicating a number of middle sheets included in one set of carbonless copy paper set in a sheet feed tray, a second acquisition unit configured to acquire a second parameter indicating a number of middle sheets included in one target product, and a control unit configured to, if the second parameter is greater than the first parameter, print on a top sheet and a middle sheet needed for printing a print job, discharge a bottom sheet and a top sheet and a middle sheet included in a next set that are not needed for printing the print job to a discharge destination different from a discharge destination of the target product, and to print on a middle sheet and a bottom sheet needed for printing the print job.
Abstract:
An object of this invention is to reduce the burden of setting work when setting the correspondence between printing media and paper feed stages in a printing apparatus which selects a predetermined printing medium and prints image data. To achieve this object, according to this invention, an information processing method in a printing apparatus capable of selecting a desired printing medium as a printing condition in selecting a printing medium set on the paper feed stage and printing includes the display step of displaying a medium setting template, the step of selecting an arbitrary template name from the template names of the displayed medium setting template, and the step of setting the correspondence between the set medium contents and the paper feed tray in correspondence with the selected template name. A printing process is performed on the set medium for each paper feed tray.

A printing system which enables to improve its flexibility, convenience, and/or productivity by utilizing a post-processing by a post-processor connected to a printer without printing by a printer. An execution request is received for a specific type of job executing a post-processing by a post-processor connected to a printer without printing by the printer. The post-processor is caused to execute the post-processing for a first printed matter previously generated for the specific type of job without printing by the printer when receiving the execution request. Print data is received which is utilized for generating the first printed matter. The printer is caused to generate a second printed matter corresponding to the first printed matter, by using the print data.

There is provided an electrode catalyst layer that has excellent durability compared to conventional electrode catalyst layers employing carbon supports, and that can minimize as much as possible the amount of catalyst material used while exhibiting desired output, by allowing adjustment of the amount as necessary. The electrode catalyst dispersion of the disclosure comprises catalyst particles that contain a non-conductive support and a conductive catalyst material covering the surface of non-conductive support, and a dispersing medium selected from among water, organic solvents and combinations thereof. The ink composition of the disclosure comprises catalyst particles containing a non-conductive support and a conductive catalyst material covering the surface of non-conductive support, a dispersing medium selected from among water, organic solvents and combinations thereof, and an ionic conductive polymer, wherein the volume ratio of the catalyst particles and the ionic conductive polymer is 55:45-90:10. There is further provided an electrode catalyst layer.
