    摘要: The invention relates to optimizing a data path between two communication nodes. A route optimization agent (ROA) is determined in the current network of the second communication node, preferably on the data path between the two communication nodes. Then, an IP tunnel is established between the first communication node and the ROA, the IP tunnel and the corresponding security association of said IP tunnel being based on the home address of the first communication node in its home network. The first communication node may have two IP tunnels based on the same home address, one to its home agent and one to the ROA. Corresponding routing entries and binding cache entries need to be established in the ROA and the first communication node so that all data packets between the two communication nodes are exchanged via the established IP tunnel over the ROA.

    摘要: Disclosed is a technique to enable a user equipment at a remote place to perform local IP access to a locally-accessible network with simpler procedure and such a configuration while achieving the efficiency of costs and facility. According to the technique, a network (LIA-PDN 161) capable of dealing with a local IP access by a user equipment (UE 101) is placed on a core network 141. When the UE establishes a PDN connection with the LIA-PDN, the UE simultaneously transmits information concerning the LIA domain network 111 as well, to which the UE wants a local IP access. On the basis of this information, the LIA-PDN establishes a PDN connection with the LIA domain network, and the LIA-PDN transfers a packet, whereby the UE can access the LIA domain network via these PDN connections.

    摘要: A technique is disclosed to realize the change of session seamlessly and with high degree of freedom while reducing the increase of the processing load on a session control server upon a request to change the session from a terminal and to decrease the load on network traffic. According to this technique, trigger information is embedded in a session of content used by the terminal. When this trigger information is detected, the terminal carries out an operation to set up as trigger action (e.g. the change to another session). The relation between the trigger information and the trigger action may be described in sequence information, which is held by the terminal in advance or the trigger action may be described in the trigger information. With regard to certain trigger information, different types of trigger actions may be set up for each terminal (or, depending on the condition of the terminal). As a result, different types of session change can be performed, depending on each terminal and on the conditions of the terminals.

    摘要: When a mobile terminal transmitting/receiving a packet using a plurality of IP address types performs a handover to an access network (single address type connection network) permitting transmission/reception of a packet using a single IP address only, an IP address not permitted is unfortunately discarded at an access network as a handover destination. Disclosed is a technique configured so that a mobile terminal (UE 1) detecting a handover to the single address type connection network establishes a temporary connection with a mobility management gateway (PGW 5) and thereafter acquires an address of an ePDG 8 located at a core network and informs the ePDG of a communication state before the handover via a PDN using the temporary connection. The ePDG informs the PGW of the communication state of the UE before the handover. Thereby, the communication state of the UE before the handover is achieved with the PGW via the ePDG and the PDN.
