Abstract: According to embodiments, a user equipment (UE) receives control information for a first sounding reference signal (SRS). The control information indicates at least a first frequency resource in a carrier, a frequency-domain shift parameter, a PF value, and a frequency-domain offset value. Based on the control information, the UE transmits the first SRS on a first partial frequency sounding resource within the first frequency resource in the carrier. A resource starting physical resource block (PRB) of the first frequency resource is in accordance with the frequency-domain shift parameter. A bandwidth of the first partial frequency sounding resource is based on at least the PF value and a bandwidth of the first frequency resource. A partial frequency sounding resource starting PRB of the first partial frequency sounding resource is based at least on the resource starting PRB of the first frequency resource and the frequency-domain offset value.

Abstract: A method for user equipment-anticipated common beam switching includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a set of reference signals from a network controller; sending, by the UE, a measurement report to the network controller based on a first reference signal of the received reference signals; determining, by the UE, that a quantity of the first reference signal reported in the measurement report exceeds a threshold; and based thereon monitoring, by the UE, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) over a search space on a first control resource set (CORESET),a spatial quasi-colocation (QCL) field in a transmission configuration indication (TCI) state of the first CORESET being set to a resource index of the first reference signal.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive first configuration information of a carrier of a serving cell, including a first association of a first group of uplink (UL) signals or channels on the carrier in the serving cell with a first UL timing advance group (TAG) of the UE, and second configuration information of the carrier including a second association of a second group of UL signals or channels on the carrier with a second UL TAG of the UE. The UE may transmit a UL signal/channel in the first group of UL signals or channels according to a TA value of the first UL TAG, and transmit a UL signal/channel in the second group of UL signals or channels according to a TA value of the second UL TAG.
