Abstract: A feedback method is provided, including receiving, by a first device, data sent by a second device, and sending, by the first device to the second device, feedback information indicating whether the data is successfully received. In this method, a quantity of bits of the feedback information is associated with a size of a transmission time unit in a communications system. By using the foregoing method, the quantity of bits of the feedback information is determined based on the size of the transmission time unit. This implements a compromise between transmission efficiency and feedback overheads in the communications system.

Abstract: A signal scrambling method and apparatus, and a signal descrambling method and apparatus are disclosed. In the signal scrambling method, a communications apparatus scrambles a signal by using a scrambling sequence, and sends the scrambled signal. In the signal descrambling method, a communications apparatus receives a signal, and descrambles the signal by using a scrambling sequence. An initial value of the scrambling sequence is determined based on a time unit number corresponding to a frame structure parameter used for transmitting the signal, so that different scrambling sequences can be used to scramble signals that are transmitted by using different frame structure parameters. Therefore, interference randomization can be implemented for signal scrambling, and this can be applicable to various application scenarios in 5G NR to improve performance.

Abstract: A downlink transmission method and a corresponding base station and terminal are provided. In some feasible implementations, a base station sends downlink control information to a terminal in a subframe n+k, where the downlink control information includes indication information and a HARQ process identification, the indication information is used to indicate a location of at least one OFDM symbol in data that is sent by the base station to the terminal in a subframe n, the HARQ process identification in the downlink control information is the same as a HARQ process identification in the subframe n, and both n and k are natural numbers; and the base station transmits, in the subframe n+k, at least data that is sent to the terminal and that is on the at least one OFDM symbol that is in the subframe n and that is indicated by the indication information.

Abstract: Data heterogeneity has been shown to reduce the convergence speed and model accuracy in existing federated learning (FL) and distributed learning (DL) based artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML) model training processes. In some embodiments, a group of devices participating in an FL or DL based AI/ML model training process is divided into clusters, e.g., based on similarities in their data class distributions, and each device is configured with a cascaded AI/ML model that includes a first AI/ML sub-model and a second AI/ML sub-model that are cascaded. For each device, one of the cascaded sub-models is a common AI/ML sub-model that is common to all devices in the group, and the other sub-model is a cluster-specific AI/ML sub-model that is common to the cluster that the device has been assigned to within the group of devices. A multi-stage training process for the cascaded AI/ML model is also provided.

Abstract: Example wireless communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a relay device receives a first signal sent by a first device, where the first signal carries a plurality of bits. The relay device decodes the first signal to determine first information corresponding to each of a plurality of first bits. The first information corresponding to each first bit is determined based on a probability that the first bit is 1 and a probability that the first bit is 0. The relay device sends the first information in a second signal to a second device, so that the second device can use the first information to decode the first signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a time domain resource allocation method. The method may include: determining N pieces of candidate time domain resource information, where N is greater than or equal to 2; and receiving indication information, where the indication information is to be used to determine, from the N pieces of candidate time domain resource information, a time domain resource allocated to a data channel. For at least one of M frame structure parameters, a time domain resource indicated by at least one of the N pieces of candidate time domain resource information is different from a time domain resource used by at least one of the following signals and/or channels in LTE: a cell-specific reference signal (CRS), a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a multimedia broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN), a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and/or a physical broadcast channel (PBCH).
