    Abstract: This application provides a reference signal indication method and apparatus. The method includes: transmitting, by a terminal device, a PTRS to a network device based on a time domain density; and receiving, by the network device, the PTRS transmitted by the terminal device based on the time domain density, where the time domain density is a density in a discrete Fourier transform spread orthogonal frequency division multiplexing DFT-s-OFDM waveform. Therefore, successful PTRS transmission can be ensured.

    Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method, a terminal device, and an access network device. The data transmission method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, information, sent by an access network device, about a carrier corresponding to the terminal device; determining, based on the information about the carrier, a process quantity corresponding to the carrier; and transmitting data based on the process quantity corresponding to the carrier. In this way, the process quantity can be determined accurately and efficiently, thereby improving data transmission reliability.

    Abstract: Example reference signal transmission methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a base station divides a transmission bandwidth into a plurality of frequency domain units, and sends reference signal sending configuration information to a terminal. The terminal transmits a reference signal on one or more frequency domain units. The one or more frequency domain units and another frequency domain unit form a part of the transmission bandwidth supported by the base station. The terminal sends the reference signal on the one or more frequency domain units to the base station based on the reference signal sending configuration information.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting data on multiple carriers, a terminal device, and a network device is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, instruction information sent by a network device, where the instruction information is used to instruct the terminal device to perform cross-carrier time-frequency resource bundling; bundling, by the terminal device, time-frequency resources on a first type of carrier and a second type of carrier according to the instruction information; and sending or receiving, by the terminal device, data on the bundled time-frequency resources. The method for transmitting data on multiple carriers in the embodiments of the disclosure implements inter-carrier soft combination and decoding and increases a success rate of decoding.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for transmitting uplink data, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: when user equipment UE correctly receives, in a subframe n, downlink control signaling used for instructing the UE to transmit a physical uplink shared channel PUSCH, determining, by the UE according to the downlink control signaling and a subframe bundling configuration, a bundled subframe for transmitting the PUSCH, where the subframe bundling configuration includes a quantity of bundled subframes; and transmitting the PUSCH in the bundled subframe. In the embodiments of the present invention, a bundled subframe is introduced, which increases scheduling resources for a PUSCH, and enhances coverage performance of a signal.
