摘要： In an LCD apparatus having an optical member, the optical member has a base body having a light incident surface and a light emitting surface faced the light incident surface. A first resin layer is formed on the light emitting surface and a light diffusing pattern is uniformly formed on the first resin layer so as to diffuse a first light and emit a second light. Accordingly, the LCD apparatus can improve display quality and can be fabricated in low-cost manufacture. Also, since the light diffusing pattern is formed with a curable material, the light diffusing pattern can have various shapes and superior reproducibility.

摘要： A backlight assembly includes at least one lamp generating light, a container having a receiving space, and a lamp fixing member disposed in the receiving space of the container. The lamp fixing member includes base arms disposed substantially parallel with each other, at least one lamp clip that grips the at least one lamp and is connected between the base arms, and at least one buffer formed in the respective base arms to allow variation in a length of the base arms due to changes in a size of the receiving space. An image display device includes a display panel for displaying images, and the backlight assembly to provide the light to the display panel. The image display device also includes a top chassis having another buffer allowing variation in a length of chassis sections.

摘要： A light guide plate includes a first surface having a light incident surface and a light reflect surface, a second surface facing the first surface, through which the reflected light exits, a first edge surface connected between edges of the light reflect surface and the second surface, and a second edge surface connected between edges of the light incident surface and the second surface, being opposite to the first edge surface. A light source is disposed on the light incident surface. A light guide plate may also include a stepped edge portion formed at a marginal area of the light guide plate on which a light source is combined. The stepped edge portion includes a light incident surface, a light reflect surface, an upper surface through which the reflected light exits the light guide plate, and a first edge surface connected between edges of the light reflect surface and the upper surface, being opposite to the stepped edge portion. A backlight assembly includes the light guide plate, a lamp unit including lamps and a lamp reflector that are disposed on the light incident surface, and a mold frame for receiving the stepped edge portion and the lamp unit.

摘要： Disclosed are a back light assembly for preventing discoloration and deformation caused by heat generated from a lamp, and a liquid crystal display device for displaying an enhanced image. The back light assembly includes a receiving container, a lamp, a glass substrate and a diffuser. The receiving container has a receiving space. The lamp for generating the light is disposed in the receiving space. The glass substrate is interposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the lamp. The diffuser diffuses the light generated by the lamp so as to unify a luminance distribution of the liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display device includes the back light assembly.

摘要： A backlight includes a cold cathode fluorescent lamp, a container for receiving the same and a liquid crystal display, device having the container. The lamp includes a lamp tube, a first electrode having a first end disposed inside the lamp tube and a second end disposed outside the lamp tube and a second electrode plated on an outer surface of the lamp tube. The cold cathode fluorescent lamp is easily coupled/separated to/from the container having a clip type power-supplying module in a clip-coupling manner. In addition, a shock absorbing member is installed at the clip type power-supplying module so as to absorb an impact applied to the cold cathode fluorescent lamp.

摘要： There is provided a lamp fixing holder. A lamp fixing holder for fixes a lamp to a receiving container. The lamp provides a liquid crystal display panel with light. The lamp includes a first portion of a face and a second portion of the face. The light emitted from the first portion of the face advances toward the liquid crystal display panel. The lamp fixing holder comprises a lamp fixing body and a fixing member. The lamp fixing body holds a third portion of the face of the lamp. The second portion includes the third portion. The fixing member fixes the lamp fixing body to the receiving container. The lamp fixing holder according to the present invention fixes the lamp so that the lamp does not sway, while minimizing an amount of light that is shielded by the lamp fixing holder.
