    摘要: In a two-way backlight assembly and a two-way LCD apparatus, the two-way backlight assembly provides light emitted from one light source to a first direction where a main LCD panel is placed and to a second direction where a sub LCD panel is placed. Also, a sub mold part for receiving the sub LCD panel comprises a black-colored material so as to prevent reflection of the light. Accordingly, thickness and power consumption of the backlight assembly may be reduced and display quality may be also improved by preventing leakage of the light at ends of the sub LCD panel.

    摘要: A diffusively reflective film includes a base film, a light reflection layer and a light diffusion layer. The base film is flexible. The light reflection layer is disposed on the base film. The light reflection film reflects a first light. The light diffusion layer is disposed on the light reflection layer. The light diffusion layer diffuses the first light to form a second light. The diffusively reflective film may be bent to cover the light guide plate without being broken so as to increase the amount of light. Thus, a display quality is enhanced. Further, the diffusively reflective film covers the first side face, the second side face and the first face of light guide plate at once. Thus, productivity is enhanced and its manufacturing cost is reduced.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a reflector for a back light assembly and a back light assembly using the same. A reflector for a back light assembly for use in an LCD device comprises a base film; a protrusion of elastic material provided on a surface of the base film; and a reflecting layer deposited on the base film and the elastic protrusion, for reflecting light. With this configuration, the back light assembly prevents damage or deformation due to friction or impact between a light guide plate and the reflector and enhances the brightness of an LCD device.

    摘要: A power supply module includes a pad and a fixing unit. The pad includes a plurality of anode power supply terminals and a plurality of cathode power supply terminals. The plurality of the anode power supply terminals and the cathode power supply terminals are alternately disposed. The fixing unit is capable of pressing an anode terminal and a cathode terminal of a printed circuit film from a backlight module to electrically connect the anode and cathode terminals to the anode power supply terminal and the cathode power supply terminal, respectively. Therefore, the backlight module having various types of anode and cathode terminals may be tested easily and efficiently.

A light source is disposed on the light incident surface. A light guide plate may also include a stepped edge portion formed at a marginal area of the light guide plate on which a light source is combined. The stepped edge portion includes a light incident surface, a light reflect surface, an upper surface through which the reflected light exits the light guide plate, and a first edge surface connected between edges of the light reflect surface and the upper surface, being opposite to the stepped edge portion. A backlight assembly includes the light guide plate, a lamp unit including lamps and a lamp reflector that are disposed on the light incident surface, and a mold frame for receiving the stepped edge portion and the lamp unit.
