Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric parking brake (EPB). The EPB includes a carrier at which a pair of pad plates is installed, a caliper housing slidably installed at the carrier and provided with a cylinder in which a piston is installed, a spindle member arranged through a rear wall of the caliper housing and adapted to rotate, a pressing device provided with a nut member screw-coupled with the spindle member to apply pressure and release pressure applied to the piston according to rotation of the spindle member, and an actuator unit to transmit rotational force to the pressing unit. The actuator unit includes a plurality of motors installed at an outer surface of the caliper housing, and a reducer to amplify the driving force and transmit the driving force to the spindle member. Each of the motors is adapted to be independently controlled by an electronic control unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a bidirectional moving micro-robot system. The bidirectional moving micro-robot system has a first body having a plurality of legs foldably/unfoldably connected thereto, a second body having a plurality of legs foldably/unfoldably connected thereto and a connection member having both end portions respectively connected to the first and second bodies. In the bidirectional moving micro-robot system, the length of the connection member exposed between the first and second bodies is extended or contracted.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a micro manipulator having a simple structure and having high possibility of recording a biological signal of a neuron at a desired position by improving positioning resolution of an electrode disposed adjacent to a subject's brain neuron or an electrode holder attached with the electrode. The micro manipulator according to the disclosure includes: a motor which includes a shaft and a vibration portion; a mobile which is connected to the shaft so as to be movable along the shaft; and a frame which supports the motor, wherein an electrode is connected to the mobile in a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the shaft, and wherein when the mobile moves linearly in accordance with a vibration of the shaft due to the vibration portion, the electrode moves linearly.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a parking brake device of a disk brake. The parking brake device includes a caliper housing including a finger unit and a body part to push pad plates, which are installed at both sides of a disk, to closely make contact with the disk, a cylinder provided in the body part of the caliper housing, a piston slidably provided in the cylinder to move the pad plates toward the disk by using driving force generated from hydraulic pressure or mechanical thrust force, a cam unit provided at a rear portion of the cylinder to transform rotation motion of a parking brake lever into linear motion of the piston, and including an operating shaft, a ramp, and a ball, and a push rod which delivers linear motion of the cam unit into the piston. A flange part of the push rod is coupled to an open front end of the ramp having a cylindrical shape by using grooves or protrusions, so that the push rod is easily prevented from rotating.
Abstract:
A biodegradable, mixed polymeric micelle used to deliver a selected nucleic acid into a targeted host cell contains an amphiphilic polyester-polycation copolymer and an amphiphilic polyester-sugar copolymer. The polyester-polycation copolymer forms an electrostatic interaction with polyanionic nucleic acids, and the polyester-sugar copolymer directs the micelle-nucleic acid complex to cells in vivo. Additional copolymers with similar properties may also be included. The composition improves delivery efficiency by providing a particulate gene carrier for which particle size and charge density are easily controlled by multivariate means. Various kinds of ligands and other functional compounds may be also be introduced using the composition. The composition may be used in a method for transforming a targeted host cell with a selected nucleic acid.
