摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing a brush-type seal comprising wrapping a filament over two spaced elongated mandrels in parallel arrangement to form a filament packing, then securing the filament packing at its ends onto the two mandrels, thereafter dividing the filament packing in a median plane between the mandrels to produce two brushes which are then bent into the desired brush shape. The bristles can be formed at an inclination in their mountings by supporting the mandrels on the base beams of a parallelogram linkage which can be displaced and controlled by cam disks so that the length of winding of the filament remains constant.

摘要： Separate segments, oversized to allow for shrinkage during welding, are assembled in the shape of a ring. The segments may be plates carrying the guide vanes. The assembled ring is placed in a vacuum chamber and the joints between segments welded by an electron beam. The welding may be carried out in two steps, namely, first tack welding the segments together followed by finish welding the entire length of each joint. The segments may be held during welding in a fixture comprising a circular array of radially-slidable jaw elements which carry the separate segments. A clamping ring urges the jaw elements, and hence the segments, radially inwardly, and a cover plate engages the separate segments and urges them radially inwardly so as to clamp the segments together in a ring shape.

An adjusting fixture (22; 122) which grips the bottom of the furniture part (10; 110) that is to be mounted is provided in the forward end area of the sliding rail (28; 128), forward being in relation to the direction of extraction. Said adjusting fixture (22; 122) comprises a mechanism for adjusting the position of a sliding rail (28; 128) relative to the extractable furniture part in the direction of at least one axis of a Cartesian coordinate system formed by three coordinate axes that run essentially perpendicular to each other.

The threaded shaft (20) of a fastener having a fastening head (22) of larger diameter, which can be inserted into the bore, is screwed into the front end of the railing. The fastening head tapers from its end at the railing towards its free end such that its upper generatrix is parallel over most of its length with the railing, and its lower generatrix slopes downwardly from the free end of the fastening head over most of its length. Near the free end of the fastening head at least one knife-edged projection reaching radially upwardly is provided and its cutting edge runs more or less circumferentially.

Each of the drawer slides has a guide rail for fastening in the carcase interior and a runner rail for attachment to the drawer on which races are provided for roller bodies or at least a roller journaled on one of the rails. In the vicinity of the carcase-front end of the drawer slide there is mounted a sector-shaped, thin adjuster for rotation about a vertical axis, the thickness of which measured in the vertical direction increases wedge-like in the direction of rotation from a radially disposed edge. The axis of rotation of the adjuster is so disposed with respect to the drawer slide that the portion that thickens wedge-like can be set between one of the rails of the drawer guide and a vertically opposite steady surface of the furniture piece.

On the guide rail there is disposed a component that can toggle between two end positions and is biased bistably toward the toggle end positions by a spring system, and has an open-ended slot for a projection projecting downward from the runner rail. The projection and the toggling component are so disposed relative to one another that upon a displacement of the runner rail from the drawer-open position to the drawer-closed position, as the projection approaches the latter it enters into the slot and then, after passing over the dead center of the toggling component, it is carried resiliently by the slot into the drawer-closed position.
