摘要: The invention relates to an instrumented airfoil for mounting in a flow passage through a turbine, compressor, or module of a turbine engine. An instrumentation member is attached to an airfoil and includes information-obtaining means received in a cutout formed in the airfoil and projecting relative to the leading edge or the trailing edge. According to the invention, the instrumentation member also comprises a holder portion that is united with the information-obtaining means and that is attached to the cutout in such a manner that its surface is in alignment respectively with the suction side wall, the pressure side wall, and the leading edge or the trailing edge of the airfoil, the transitions between these respective surfaces not presenting any setbacks.

摘要: A turbo fan engine includes a housing that supports a compressor section. At least one compressor hub is within the compressor section. A compressor shaft is arranged in the compressor section. An epicyclic gear train is coupled to the compressor shaft. At least one compressor hub and the compressor shaft are coupled at a common attachment point. The epicyclic gear train includes a carrier. A sun gear and intermediate gears are arranged about and intermeshing with the sun gear. The intermediate gears are supported by the carrier. A baffle is supported relative to the carrier and includes a lubrication passage near at least one of the sun gear and intermediate gears for directing a lubricant on at least one of the sun gear and the intermediate gears.

摘要: A geared architecture includes a carrier that has spaced apart walls with circumferentially spaced mounts that interconnect the walls. The mounts provide circumferentially spaced apart apertures between the mounts at an outer circumference of the carrier. A sun gear and intermediate gears are arranged about and intermesh with the sun gear. The intermediate gears are supported by the carrier. The intermediate gears extend through the apertures to intermesh with a ring gear. A baffle is supported relative to the carrier and includes a lubrication passage near at least one of the sun gear and intermediate gears for directing a lubricant on the at least one of the sun gear and intermediate gears. The lubrication passage includes a primary passage that extends laterally between the walls and first and second passages and is in communication with the primary passage and respectively terminates near the sun gear and intermediate gears.

摘要: Provided is a method of manufacturing a rotary machine, which includes: a casing forming process of forming a casing of the rotary machine that has multiple opening parts and suctions and discharges a fluid; a surface activating process of supplying a pretreatment liquid into the casing, then discharging the pretreatment liquid from the casing through the opening parts, and activating an inner surface of the casing after the casing forming process; a plating process of performing supply and discharge of a plating liquid into and from the easing through the opening parts to circulate the plating liquid and plating the inner surface of the casing after the surface activating process; and an assembling process of providing a rotating body that is rotatable relative to the casing so as to he covered from an outer circumference side by the casing plated in the plating process.
