    摘要: New electrostatographic toners and developers are provided containing new charge-control agents comprising N-substituted pyridinium salts having the ##STR1## wherein R is a straight or branched chain alkyl group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, aralkyl in which the alkyl group has 1 to 20 carbon atoms and the aryl group has from 6 to 14 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a straight or branched chain alkyl or alkoxy group having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, aralkyl or alkaryl in which the alkyl group has 1 to 20 carbon atoms and the aryl group has from 6 to 14 carbon atoms, unsubstituted aryl having from 6 to 14 carbon atoms or aryl having from 6 to 14 carbon atoms substituted with one or more nitro, alkoxy or halo groups and X is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, fluorine or iodine.

    摘要: A disposable absorbent garment (10) of the type having opposed engageable waistband portions (14) separated by an intermediate portion (16), comprises a breathable elastomeric nonwoven fabric outer cover (12) and a superposable absorbent structure (32), including a liquid-impervious baffle (36), a liquid-pervious bodyside liner (34), and an absorbent core (38) disposed therebetween. The absorbent structure (32) preferably forms an independent insert separately attached to the outer cover (12) without restricting the stretchability thereof. The garment (10) has a generally asymmetrical hourglass profile with leg cut-out openings (18) converging together to define a narrow crotch portion, front (28) and rear (30) panels on either side of the crotch and pairs of front (20, 22) and rear (24, 26) ear portions extending from the waistbands (14) to the leg openings (18).A plurality of fastener members (42, 44, 46, 48) each having inner (49) and outer (51) peripheral edges, extend across the bodyside of the ear portions (20, 22, 24, 26) substantially from an associated waistband portion (14) to one of the marginal leg openings (18), with the rear pair of fastener members (42, 46) being hingedly attached along their outer peripheral edges (51) to the laterally opposed rear pair (20, 22) of associated ears. The absorbent structure (32) preferably forms an insert attached to the outer cover (12) without restricting the stretchability thereof. The garment (10) has a generally asymmetrical hourglass profile with leg cut-out openings (18) converging together to define a narrow crotch with front (28) and rear (30) panels on either side thereof, having pairs of front (20, 22) and rear (24, 26) ear portions, respectively. Laterally-opposed pairs of rear fastener members (42, 44) and front (46, 48) fastener members extend across the rear ear portions (20, 22) and front ear portions (24, 26), respectively. Longitudinally opposed pairs (42, 46; 44, 48) of the fastener members are engagable with one another, forming substantially full-length closures from the waistband (14) to each leg opening (18) of the garment (10).     摘要: A helicopter 10 with a system for controlling mainrotor torque which reduces the power and size requirements of conventional anti-torque means. The torque countering forces are generated by disrupting the main rotor downwash flowing around the fuselage. The downward flow is separated from the fuselage surface 11 by strakes 16 and 17 positioned at specified locations on the fuselage 11. These locations are determined by the particular helicopter wash pattern and fuselage configuration, generally being located 30.degree. before top dead center 21 and 30.degree. from bottom dead center 22 on the fuselage side to which the main rotor blade 12 approaches during rotation. The strakes 16 and 17 extend along the fuselage 11 from the cabin section 18 to the aft end and can be continuous or separated for aerodynamic surfaces such as a horizontal stabilizer 15.

    摘要: The invention provides a conductivity control agent comprised of a polymeric material containing diphosphonium bis(sulfoarylcarbonyloxy) glycol salts as conductivity control agent. The conductivity control agents can be used with semi-conductive rolls, belts and other biasable members. The inclusion of the conductivity control agent in the polymeric or polyurethane elastomers extends the electrical life of the polymeric biasable member in low humidity environments. Additionally, the resistivity of the elastomeric polymer on the biasable member is controlled to a desirable value by adjusting the conductivity control agent level in the elastomers.
