    摘要: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system is described by which a first sequence of ultrasound images of an organ such as the heart is acquired at a first image acquisition rate. The first sequence preferably images a larger volume or area in which a region of interest is located. Then a second sequence of three-dimensional ultrasound images of a sub-volume covering a part of anatomy of interest in the first sequence is acquired at a second image acquisition rate which is greater than the first acquisition rate. A third sequence of three-dimensional ultrasound images of a reference sub-volume is acquired at the second image rate. The second and third sequences of three-dimensional images are compared, enabling a clinician to focus on synchronism defects in the anatomy of interest with more precision and with a faster acquisition time.

    摘要: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system is described which quantifies regurgitant flow through a mitral valve. Echo signals received by an ultrasound probe (10) are used to produce an image of a regurgitant flow region, and are processed by a wall filter having a response characteristic which peaks at an intermediate sampling rate between zero and the Nyquist limits. This response characteristic is thus highly sensitive to lower flow rates which may be anticipated in a flow velocity field proximal a regurgitant orifice. Echo signals passed by the wall filter are Doppler processed and used to quantify the flow through the regurgitant orifice.

    摘要: An actuator assembly includes a piston chamber assembly having a piston chamber and a pin receiving tube extending from the piston chamber. A gas transfer pin has a first end inserted in the pin receiving tube and a second end received in a rifle sight alignment bore. The gas transfer pin has a longitudinal bore in communication with the piston chamber. A piston member is slidably received in the piston chamber and includes a piston body with a piston member extension tube. The piston body includes a raised piston portion having piston rings, and a ring divider slot positioned between the piston rings. A rod assembly has a rod engagement end received in a piston member extension tube receiving bore. A piston clip has an arm extending through both the rod engagement end and the piston member extension tube connecting the rod assembly and piston member and a spiral end.

    摘要: An aerodynamically and structurally superior, fixed-blade hunting arrowhead providing higher penetration coupled with a structurally sound, non-deflecting, blade-cutting area to take down wild game quickly and humanely. The assembly includes the ferrule, main blade, and sub-blade, wherein the unitary ferrule has a machined structure that holds and reinforces the blade units as well as incorporates a concave-faceted cutting tip, blade-location channels, cavities for blade snap retention, and rearmost threaded portion for attachment to a standard arrow insert. The main blade is a one-piece element which incorporates two forward-cutting blades and two rear blades, as well as rearmost anchoring projections attaching the blade to the ferrule. The sub-blade is a one-piece element positioned perpendicular to the main blade and is retained in the same manner as the main blade by integrated projections snapping into cavities within the ferrule.

The three dimensional ultrasound imaging device may use two dimensional solids and three dimensional volumes. The three dimensional ultrasound imaging device may also create up sampled ultrasound image information that has a greater number of frames, a greater number of three-dimensional frames, a greater number of two-dimensional volumes, a greater number of three dimensional volumes and a larger amount of ultrasound information.

The interface further relates the three-dimensional ultrasound image controls to the plurality of three-dimensional image compositing functions for manipulating the ultrasound images. Additionally, the interface presents to the user a three-dimensional color image control for controllably manipulating the ultrasound image using three-dimensional image using compositing functions such as a color flow mapping function, a color flow overlay function for mapping fluid flow direction, a depth-based velocity visualization color mapping function; and an absolute velocity representation function for mapping absolute fluid flow velocity relating to said ultrasound object.
