    摘要: An upper receiver and barrel assembly includes an upper receiver, a barrel assembly and a gas piston assembly. An upper receiver housing receives a shotgun shell cartridge and the bolt carrier group includes a bolt carrier, a bolt within the bolt carrier, a firing pin and an ejector pin to expel fired shells. The barrel assembly includes a barrel, a barrel extension and a barrel nut to secure the barrel and barrel extension to the upper receiver housing. The gas piston assembly includes a piston body, a piston end cap and a piston bonnet configured to slidably receive the piston end cap therein. A piston gap is defined between the piston end cap and the bonnet end wall. The barrel defines a gas port fluidly connecting the open bore of the barrel with the piston gap. A biasing member urges the piston toward the bonnet.

The power load seats in in the casing surrounded by a reinforcement liner embedded in the polymer casing.

    摘要: A buttstock assembly configured to work in conjunction with a compact buffer assembly consisting of a buffer tube, spring and bolt carrier with an integral buffer is provided. The buttstock assembly, buffer tube and bolt carrier are configured to work with AR15/M16 type firearms and their derivatives. By incorporating the buffer onto the bolt carrier, which is used in conjunction with a buffer tube of reduced length, the overall length of the host firearm is reduced by approximately 3.2 inches. No permanent modification need be made to the host firearm in order to utilize the compact buffer assembly and buttstock assembly disclosed herein.

The quick take-down can be unlocked by sliding a sliding lock collar in a translational motion to an unlocked position to release locking elements from a locked configuration. In the unlocked position, a barrel and handguard may be installed onto and removed from the upper receiver of the firearm. Releasing the sliding lock collar returns it to a locked position, securing the barrel and handguard to the upper receiver.

    摘要: A gas operating system for automatic cycling of a pistol-caliber firearm is disclosed. The disclosed system may be configured to utilize gas produced by combustion of pistol cartridge propellant to automatically cycle the firearm. To that end, the disclosed system may include a gas block which routes high-pressure gas from the barrel through a gas port to a piston. The location of the gas port may be selected to lie within a region of the barrel which generally corresponds with the peak of the pressure curve associated with a given pistol cartridge. The high-pressure gas may impinge on the piston head, forcing the piston rearward and into physical contact with a short-stroke operating rod affixed to the bolt carrier of the host firearm. Consequently, the bolt carrier may be driven rearward, allowing for cycling of the firearm to progress.
