摘要： The invention provides an apparatus for the mounting and/or demounting of at least two printing sleeves outside a printing unit of a printing machine. The printing sleeves include an outer printing sleeve forming a printing surface and an inner printing sleeve providing diameter compensation between the outer printing sleeve and an impression cylinder of the printing machine. The apparatus having a reception device onto which an inner printing sleeve can be pushed for mounting the two printing sleeves. The apparatus having at least one compressed-air device for facilitating the fixing of the inner printing sleeve on the reception device and for conducting compressed air through orifices assigned to the inner printing sleeve in order thereby to make it possible for an outer printing sleeve to be pushed more easily onto the inner printing sleeve.

摘要： To provide for temporary storage of freshly printed signatures (6), transported by a continuously moving product transport gripper chain (4, 5), a plurality of pocket structures (12), each of which includes a plurality of connected sheet-like elements (16,17) which, between each other, define pockets (15), are provided. The sheet-like elements are arranged for pivotable movement about an end portion to permit fan-like spreading out of the elements for reception in the pockets of, for example, one product or signature delivered by the transport system. Storage units are provided to store empty pocket structures and to receive pocket structures which are filled with signatures. The storage structures, preferably, are formed of separate sheet-like elements connected together, and engaging the signatures at marginal portions, so that access can be provided to the signature, for example from below, for compressed air or other drying gas, to dry the fresh ink on the signatures, for example when placed within the storage units (26). To space the sheet-like elements, preferably, a small projection or tab is placed on them at facing surfaces, in the region of the margins of the signatures, that is, in non-printed areas thereof.

摘要： Folded products, supplied in dual-comb like interdigited form are transported by a transport chain system (75) carrying grippers (84, 85) in a vertical direction to form a vertical stack. Grippers engage alternate products about their fold line, and hold the interdigited intermediate sheets therebetween. The transport system and a carrier structure are placed in relative positions to permit the grippers of the transport system to pick up the products (1, 2) at the fold line and, after reorienting the products, to place them in a vertical stack on a support (96, 110), a cam track (88) opening the grippers on the transport system (75) as the grippers pass about a vertically movable deflection wheel (97) to release the products. The deflection wheel moves upwardly as the stack grows. The products are originally supplied in open V-shaped form, and one group (2) of the products is gripped at the open edges of the V, as well as at the fold lines; as so gripped it is inverted and transported to fit, roof-like, over the other products (1) which retain their open V position, for example by guiding a pair of clamping strips or rails (35, 35') with grippers (40, 41) thereon in a circular path.

The products are introduced into the pockets, the zig-zag shaped pockets are severed along a connection line and welded shut at the sides, as well as along the connection lines, for example by heat welding.

The first or last of the copy product stations (1, 4) can hold folded newspapers which, for example, can be the main section of a newspaper, with which specific regional or advertisement inserts, formed by the copy products, are then assembled.
