    摘要: In a vehicle door control system, a vehicle-side unit communicates with a hand-held device and detects an operation on any one of vehicle doors. When a condition for unlocking the doors is satisfied, the vehicle-side unit unlocks the doors. In addition, the vehicle-side unit also automatically opens some specific doors having an automatic door opening/closing function. Thus, the holder of the hand-held device no longer needs to issue another command to execute an operation to automatically open the specific doors. The vehicle side-unit also detects an operation on any doors and communicates with the hand-held device to automatically close and lock the doors, when the holder of the hand-held device leaves the vehicle.

    摘要: In a rain shelter control system for vehicular doorways, an electronic key ECU causes exterior signal transmitters to periodically transmit request signals. When a portable device receives the request signal in an arrival range of the request signals, the portable device generates a response signal responsive to the request signal. When a receiver receives the response signal from the portable device, the electronic key ECU operates to automatically open any of rain shelters near the portable device, so that a holder of the portable device and passengers fold their umbrellas under the opened rain shelters, so that they can get into a vehicle without being exposed to rain. Besides, the electronic key ECU operates to automatically open the rain shelter when they get off the vehicle.

    摘要: In a door control system, in polling collation processing, a start request signal is intermittently transmitted from a vehicle. When a human around the vehicle is detected, a start request signal is transmitted from the vehicle with high output power. A portable device returns a response signal to the vehicle. Furthermore, when the start request signal is transmitted at the high output power, the reception sensitivity is set to be lower than the normal sensitivity. When receiving the response signal from the portable device, the vehicle transmits an ID request signal, and acquires an ID code from the portable device. The ID code thus acquired is collated with each ID code registered in the vehicle. When both ID codes agree, the vehicle doors are unlocked.

    摘要: A main control ECU of a vehicle unit performs mutual communication with a portable device by external transmitters when respective vehicle doors provided with the automatic open/close function are open. The main control ECU further performs, after ID code matching is confirmed, the mutual communication with the portable device by the external transmitters again after a predetermined time. The main control unit still further performs, when the second matching is not confirmed, mutual communication with the portable device by an internal transmitter. The main control unit automatically closes the vehicle doors when the third matching is not confirmed.

    摘要: An on-board illumination controlling system includes a mobile communicator and an on-board unit. The mobile communicator receives one of request signals and transmits, in response to the received request signal, a response signal. The on-board unit includes: multiple transmitters, a receiver, a comparison ECU and a control ECU. The multiple transmitters are installed, respectively, to different portions of the vehicle. The multiple transmitters transmit, respectively, the request signals to different communication areas. The receiver receives the response signal from the mobile communicator. The comparison ECU specifies one of the multiple transmitters which has transmitted the one of the request signals. The control ECU turns on one of multiple lighting devices in the vehicle corresponding to the specified one of the multiple transmitters.

    摘要: When a driver of a vehicle issues a command to stop an engine, an in-vehicle unit communicates with a portable device. When collation of ID codes of the in-vehicle unit and the portable device is OK, a collation ECU permits stopping of the engine. When the result of ID-code collation is NG, the ECU prohibits stopping of the engine. When a vehicle passenger has taken out the portable device from a vehicle compartment, once the engine of the vehicle is stopped, the engine can no longer be restarted. By prohibiting the stop of the engine based on the NG result of ID-code collation, however, it is possible to prevent a state in which the engine cannot be restarted. It is preferred to allow starting of the engine irrespective of the ID code collation, when the ECU stores an engine stall occurring previously.

    摘要: A backup communication is automatically executed if a smart ID does not come back from a portable device though a comparison ECU transmits a smart ID request. In the backup communication, the comparison ECU transmits an immobilized ID request through a coil. The portable device receives the immobilized ID request if a user brings the portable device close to an engine start switch. The portable device transmits the immobilizer ID to comparison ECU. The comparison ECU sends the immobilizer ID to an ID box. The ID box compares the immobilizer ID sent from the comparison ECU with the ID stored therein. If the immobilizer ID corresponds to the stored ID, an engine ECU allows an engine start.
