    摘要: A focal-plane shutter base for use in a camera includes a base plate having a shutter opening. Two sets of blades, each of which consists of a plurality of sheets for blocking light, are mounted on the base plate at one side of the shutter opening. The blades are covered by a cover plate connected to the base plate. Driving members for driving the blades are supported on shafts connected to the base plate. The base plate has a shield portion extending along the outer periphery thereof for preventing unwanted light from entering from the sides of the base plate, and a frame portion surrounding the shutter opening for blocking unwanted light from reaching the shutter opening and for structurally reinforcing the base plate. The base plate, shafts, shield portion and frame portion are all integrally molded from plastic.

    摘要: A focal plane shutter for a camera comprising two sets of parallel blades positioned between the plane of a lens in the camera and the plane of a film set therein and in a parallel relation thereto. These sets of blades are movable in opposite directions between a first position in which they are unfolded to close a shutter aperture and a second position in which they are folded to form a slit to open the shutter aperture. Every two adjoining blades in each set of blades has a smaller overlapping width in their first position than in their second position. This overlapping width in the first position is smaller between two adjoining blades closer to the lens plane than between two adjoining blades closer to the film plane.

A detector operates after the motor starts rotating and before the shutter device undergoes its opening movement for detecting the rotational speed of the motor. A controller adjusts the shutter device in accordance with the detected rotational speed of the motor to thereby enable the shutter device to effect the exposure operation so as to accurately achieve the given exposure value.

    摘要: The main power source unit of an image read-out device supplies power to an laser diode (LD) power supply unit of an electronic cassette through a contact. The LD power supply unit supplies the supplied power to a laser diode (LD), as power used for emitting laser light, and also supplies a portion of the supplied power to an LD power supply unit of the image read-out device through a contact. The power supplied to the LD power supply unit of the image read-out device is supplied as power for emitting laser light to an LD of the image read-out device. When there is a change in the relative position of the casings of the electronic cassette and the image read-out device, the contact and electrical continuation of the contacts breaks and laser light stops being emitted from the LDs.

    摘要: A digital camera comprises two photographing systems which are independent of and substantially identical to each other, and each of which includes a photographing optical system and an image pickup device. The photographing optical system is configured to include a photographing lens, a focusing lens and an aperture stop. The focusing lens of one of the photographing systems is driven stepwise from a first predetermined position at which it is to be located when a focusing position lies at an infinite distance, toward a second predetermined position at which it is to be located when the focusing position lies at the closest distance, while the focusing lens of the other photographing system is driven stepwise from the second predetermined position toward the first predetermined position every step width. The contrasts of images formed by the respective photographing systems are evaluated while the two focusing lenses are being moved, and a position corresponding to the maximum value of the contrasts is determined as the focusing position.
