摘要: A camera has a shutter device driveable to undergo opening movement to open an aperture to effect exposure operation according to a given exposure value, and a motor actuatable to rotate at an unstable rotational speed for driving the shutter device. A detector operates after the motor starts rotating and before the shutter device undergoes its opening movement for detecting the rotational speed of the motor. A controller adjusts the shutter device in accordance with the detected rotational speed of the motor to thereby enable the shutter device to effect the exposure operation so as to accurately achieve the given exposure value.

摘要: Ink is reserved in a cartridge case. On this cartridge case, there are fixed an ink jet head and an electric connecting member in a stacked state. The ink jet head is constructed to include: ink supply holes adapted to be supplied with the ink from the cartridge case; ink passages communicating with the ink supply holes; nozzles formed in the leading ends of the ink passages; and ink ejecting device such as piezoelectric elements disposed to correspond to the ink passages for ejecting the ink from the nozzles. These nozzles and the ink passages are substantially perpendicular. Moreover, the stacking direction, the ink supply direction from the cartridge case to the ink supply holes, and the ink ejecting direction from the nozzles are made substantially identical. The electric connecting member is made of a flexible frame or a metal lead frame. Thus, the ink jet head is assembled merely by stacking those individual components in the common direction.

摘要: An ink jet head includes a nozzle plate having a nozzle through the nozzle plate in its thickness direction, a base plate laminated with the nozzle plate and having an ink supplying hole through the base plate in its thickness direction, a pressure chamber connected to the nozzle and the ink supplying hole in the substantially perpendicular manner and provided with a pressure means on the bonded surface of the nozzle plate and the base plate. The nozzle and the ink supplying hole are made narrower than the pressure chamber and the connecting channel. The plural nozzles, pressure chambers, connecting channels, and ink supplying holes are provided. A common ink chamber connecting to a plurality of the ink supplying holes are provided on the opposite surface to the nozzle plate laminated with the base plate in the perpendicular manner to the nozzle plate. A projection is formed in the nozzle plate and the nozzle is provided through the projection. The ink head enables to prevent bonding materials from flowing into the thin portions during bonding process, to eliminate variations in efficiency of ink ejection at the respective nozzles, and to improve the printing finish in quality.

摘要: A time recorder includes a clock circuit for producing a clock signal, a detector for detecting when a time card is loaded in the time recorder to produce a detection signal, and a correcting circuit for producing a correcting signal effective to correct time information. A printing wheel assembly is rotationally driven to print the time information which is displayed in a display device. A positioning mechanism receives the loaded time card and moves relative to the printing wheel assembly for positioning the loaded time card in a print position relative to the printing wheel assembly. A hammer is opposed to the loaded time card and actuated to act thereon against the printing wheel assembly to thereby print the time information. The display device, printing wheel assembly and positioning mechanism are driven in synchronization with one another to update and correct the displayed time information, the time information to be printed and the position of the time card in response to the clock and correcting signals. The hammer is actuated in response to the detection signal without relative interference with the drive of the printing wheel assembly and positioning mechanism.

摘要: A time recorder is normally powered by a main power source for supplying a commercial power and occasionally powered by a back-up power source during interruption of the commercial power supply. A clock means counts time to constantly produce a clock pulse, and a digital display constantly digitally indicates updated time data in response to the clock pulse. An analogue display is driven for analogically indicating time information and a recording mechanism is driven for recording time information on a recording medium. A driving device drives the analog display and recording mechanism in response to the clock pulse to update the time information indicated in the analog display and recorded by the recording mechanism. A detecting device is connected to the main power source for detecting the interruption of the commercial power supply. A controlling device responsive to the detection of the commercial power supply interruption inhibits the operation of the driving device during the commercial power supply interruption so that the driving device suspends the driving of the analog display and recording mechanism to thereby cause a delay of the time information from the updated time data, and operates after recovery of the commercial power supply for controlling the driving device to quickly drive the analog display and recording mechanism to correct for the delay to thereby update the time information.

摘要: A distance measuring device for a camera has a near infrared light-projecting element for projecting measuring light to be reflected by an object to be photographed. The reflected measuring light is received as a first light beam image at a first position on a surface of a first light-receiving element. The reflected measuring light reflected by the object is also received as a second light beam image at a second position on a surface of a second light-receiving element. A CPU controls the focusing movement of the lens of the camera by computing a distance to the object depending on the first position, compensating the computed distance depending on the second position, and controlling the focusing movement of the lens based on the compensated computed distance. The CPU compares the second position with a predetermined distance value and inhibits the compensation of the computed distance if it is determined that compensation is not necessary.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a solid-state pickup device module of the present invention includes: a step of processing a transparent substrate so that each of transparent substrates for a chip is held opposite to each of solid-state image pickup devices when the transparent substrate and a substrate having a plurality of solid-state image pickup devices are opposed to each other (step of processing a transparent substrate; S1 to S17); and a modularizing step in which the transparent substrate thus processed and the substrate having a plurality of solid-state image pickup devices are opposed to each other so as to place each of the transparent substrates for a chip opposite to each of the solid-state image pickup devices (modularizing step; S21 to S28). Thus, the present invention can improve manufacturing efficiency by bonding the transparent substrate and the substrate having a plurality of solid-state image pickup devices at a time. In addition, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a solid-state image pickup device module whereby a wafer can be easily cut.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device can suppress the generation of burrs when an array of integrated circuits to which a supporting member is bonded for assistance is separated into chips. The supporting member having thinned regions (or void regions which are openings in the supporting member) located correspondingly beneath the scribing lines extending between the integrated circuits is bonded by an adhesive to the back side of a semiconductor substrate on which integrated circuits are arrayed at the primary side. Then, a dicing tape is attached to the support member to secure the entire assembly, and the assembly of the integrated circuits, the semiconductor substrate, the adhesive, and the supporting member are cut along the scribing lines, and then the dicing tape is removed.
