摘要: In a switching hub capable of realizing a high-speed LAN communication, this switching hub is equipped with a switch unit and a plurality of ports connected to this switch unit. When a frame is received from a terminal, each of these ports attaches a tag to which a transmission source LAN number has been set to this received frame, and thereafter supplies the frame with this tag to the switch unit. When the frame with tag is received from another port within another switching hub, the port directly supplies this frame with tag to the switch unit. The switch unit registers the transmission source LAN number of the supplied frame, a transmission source MAC address, and an input port number into a LAN table. While such a port for supplying a frame is determined, either a transmission source address of this frame or a transmission source LAN number thereof is used as a retrieve key so as to try to read out the port number from the LAN table. In the case that the port number cannot be read out, the switch unit performs the broadcast operation. When the destination LAN number can be found out by retrieving the LAN table, the next switching hub is notified by setting a tag to this destination LAN number.

摘要: Method and apparatus for carburizing, quenching and tempering workpieces, by which the step of carburizing can be incorporated into a machining and manufacturing process to be performed by an on-line machining and manufacturing system as one stage thereof, and by which high-quality treatment or processing can be achieved without occurrences of variation in quality among heat-treated products. In this apparatus, a preheating chamber (2), six carburizing chambers (5a to 5f), a cooling chamber (6), a reheating chamber (7), a quenching chamber (8) are placed around an intermediate chamber (4) having a transport device (12). Further, a high-frequency induction heating technique is used for heating each of major ones of the treatment or processing chambers. Moreover, a plasma carburizing method is performed in the carburizing chambers. Furthermore, workpieces, which are successively carried into this apparatus through a machining and manufacturing line, are assigned and distributed to the chambers, respectively, and are then treated or processed therein. Thus, the process of carburizing, quenching and tempering can be performed without stagnation.

摘要: A stress evaluation method for evaluating stress acting on a test piece includes the steps of transmitting acoustic waves including a surface wave, a longitudinal wave, and a shear wave through the test piece; receiving the acoustic waves after they have propagated through the test piece; obtaining acoustic velocities of the surface wave at a non-loaded portion and a loaded portion of the test piece based on the received acoustic waves; evaluating a stress in a surface layer of the test piece based on a difference between the surface wave acoustic velocities at the non-loaded portion and the loaded portion and a predetermined relationship between surface wave acoustic velocities and stresses; obtaining an acoustic velocity of the longitudinal wave at the non-loaded portion based on the received acoustic waves; calculating an acoustic velocity of the shear wave at the loaded portion based on the received acoustic waves and the longitudinal wave acoustic velocity at the non-loaded portion; evaluating an internal average stress in the test piece based on the shear wave acoustic velocity at the loaded portion; evaluating an internal stress distribution in the test piece by correcting a hypothetical internal stress distribution in the test piece based on the stress in the surface layer and the internal average stress; and conducting a diagnosis of the test piece based on the internal stress distribution.

摘要: Apparatus controlling a permanent magnet rotary electric machine. After the apparatus controls a current control portion, when a rotor of the machine rotates at a constant speed, to supply a predetermined current to an armature, the apparatus performs a dq vector control process by determining a predetermined temporarily set value as a magnetic pole position correction quantity while a d-axis current command value and a q-axis current command value in the dq vector control process performed on a dq coordinate system that has a d-axis extending in the direction of a magnetic field of the permanent magnet of the rotor and a q-axis extending in a direction perpendicular to the d-axis. Then, the apparatus obtains the magnetic pole position correction quantity based on a predetermined operation expression using the d-axis voltage command value and the q-axis voltage command value from the dq vector control process.
