摘要: Method and apparatus for carburizing, quenching and tempering workpieces, by which the step of carburizing can be incorporated into a machining and manufacturing process to be performed by an on-line machining and manufacturing system as one stage thereof, and by which high-quality treatment or processing can be achieved without occurrences of variation in quality among heat-treated products. In this apparatus, a preheating chamber (2), six carburizing chambers (5a to 5f), a cooling chamber (6), a reheating chamber (7), a quenching chamber (8) are placed around an intermediate chamber (4) having a transport device (12). Further, a high-frequency induction heating technique is used for heating each of major ones of the treatment or processing chambers. Moreover, a plasma carburizing method is performed in the carburizing chambers. Furthermore, workpieces, which are successively carried into this apparatus through a machining and manufacturing line, are assigned and distributed to the chambers, respectively, and are then treated or processed therein. Thus, the process of carburizing, quenching and tempering can be performed without stagnation.

摘要: A power supply system including a plurality of batteries includes a busbar, a terminal and a busbar module. The busbar connects a first electrode of one of the batteries with a second electrode of another one of the batteries. The terminal is mounted on the busbar and is contacted with the first electrode. The busbar module has a bulkhead defining a space accommodating the busbar. A locking member is extended from the bulkhead into the space and restricts the busbar. An abutment portion is provided at an edge part of the terminal. The abutment portion abuts the locking member when the terminal is rotated about the first electrode.

摘要: A free fall detection device capable of detecting a fall accompanied by rotation is provided. A fall accompanied by rotation is detected based on a waveform of an acceleration signal output from the acceleration detection unit and an angular velocity signal output from the angular velocity detection unit. A gravity center acceleration of the device to be protected is calculated from the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection unit and from the angular velocity detected by the angular velocity detection unit. Even when the device being protected rotates as it falls, the fall of the device can be detected from the detected acceleration or angular velocity. Further, by calculating the gravity center acceleration not affected by the rotation, it is possible to detect a fall of the device with high precision even if the device rotates as it falls.

摘要: A behavior of a walker is detected according to combination of detection of the walking behavior on a level and an altitude variation of the walker to more accurately detect the behavior of the walker. A burned calorie can be obtained according to the type of the walking behavior. An altitude variation can be obtained more accurately by integrating altitude variation only at sections with vertical movement during walking. A stride is estimated according to the behavior of the walker in consideration of the vertical movement. Obtained position and traveling direction are used for compensating values in inertial navigation system. The behavior with and without vertical movement is used in a walker navigator and a worker observing system including a worker terminal carried by the walker for detecting the behavior of the worker and a worker observing terminal for providing the detected position and behavior of the walker.
