    摘要: An electric lock comprising a solenoid which has a permanent magnet for attracting a plunger and an electromagnetic coil which is positioned adjacent the permanent magnet so as to control the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet. A cam member which has a cam surface formed at one end thereof engages an engaging pin when a bolt operating member is rotated so as to lock the electric lock so that an engaging rod is forced to move in the direction opposite to the direction in which an engaging bolt is biased, the other end of the engaging rod being connected to the plunger of the solenoid. A positive voltage application unit responds to an unlocking signal so as to temporarily cause a current to flow through the electromagnetic coil in such a way that the flux produced by the electromagnetic coil cancels the magnetic flux produced by the permanent magnet.

The frame is provided with a webbing drawing-in mechanism which draws-in the webbing by a predetermined amount length toward the retractor when an abrupt deceleration of the vehicle body is detected. This assures more positive operation of the seat belt device.

    摘要: A board suitable for use as a front cover of a vehicle instrument panel. The board consists of a transparent plate and an opaque shade film which is bonded to a major surface of the transparent plate and is formed with a number of substantially uniformly distributed light-transmitting holes. To adequately limit diffusion of light transmitted from the shade film side, the holes are designed such that the ratio of the hole diameter to the hole depth, i.e. shade film thickness, is greater than 0.23 and smaller than 0.5 and that the ratio of the hole diameter to the distance of each hole form every adjacent hole is greater than 1.2 and smaller than 25. The exposed front surface of the transparent plate is finished to a surface roughness of 0.15-0.40 micron so as to become a difusely reflective surface to thereby prevent undesirable reflection of extraneous light such as sunlight from this surface. The holed shade film is usually formed by using a photosensitive resin and is preferably matte-finished at least in its inner surfaces defining the respective light-transmitting holes.

A first recording pulse sequence is generated for recording to a first data layer located most remote from a beam-incident surface. A second recording pulse sequence is generated for recording to a second data layer.     摘要: An optical disk consists of a first laminated layer structure and a second laminated layer structure. The first structure has a first transparent substrate having a first surface and a second surface on both sides thereof, provided on the first surface being a light-incident plane via which a light beam is to be incident in recording or reproduction, formed alternately on the second surface being a plurality of first lands and first grooves, and a first organic-dye recording layer formed on the second surface to cover the first lands and grooves. The second structure has a second substrate, alternately formed on which are a plurality of second lands and second grooves, a reflective film formed on the second transparent substrate to cover the second lands and grooves, and a second organic-dye recording layer formed on the reflective film to face the second transparent substrate. The first and the second structures are bonded to each other via a bonding layer so that the first and second recording layers are provided between the first and second substrates. A formula α1≧cos−1(20/Tb) is satisfied in which Tb is a thickness of the reflective film formed on a bottom of each second groove and α1 is an angle between a plane passing through an upper surface of each second land and a side wall of each second groove.

    摘要: It is an assignment to provide a carbon monoxide removing catalyst whose catalytic activity is higher than conventional carbon-monoxide-methanation-reaction catalyst. It is characterized in that it comprises an oxide support composed of an oxide containing Co and Zr, and a noble metal catalyst selected from the group consisting of Ru, Pt, Rh and Pd, and loaded on the oxide support, and it can remove carbon monoxide by means of carbon monoxide methanation reaction. A carbon monoxide removing catalyst of the present invention is such that such an effect is available that the catalytic activity with respect to carbon monoxide methanation reaction is higher when being low temperatures, compared with carbon monoxide removing catalysts which use oxides of Zr—Fe, Zr—Mn, and the like, or zirconia, as the support. In particular, it is desirable that a number-of-atom ratio of Co/Zr can be 1/3 or more and 3/1 or less.

    摘要: Data is recorded in a phase-change optical storage medium having a beam-incident surface and a plurality of data layers provided over the surface, each data layer having at least a recording film. Data to be recorded is modulated to generate modulated data. Desired mark-length data is generated based on the modulated data. A recording beam is emitted onto each data layer based on the mark-length data, to form a recorded mark carrying the data to be recorded in each data layer. A first recording pulse sequence is generated when a recorded mark is formed in a first data layer located most remote from the beam-incident surface among the data layers. The first sequence has at least a first recording pulse carrying a first erasing power and a first recording power rising from the first erasing power, and a first cooling pulse carrying a first bottom power lower than the first erasing power. A recording beam is emitted onto the first data layer in accordance with the first sequence. A second recording pulse sequence is generated when a recorded mark is formed in a second data layer different from the first data layer among the data layers. The second sequence has at least a second recording pulse carrying a second erasing power and a second recording power rising from the second erasing power, a second cooling pulse carrying a second bottom power lower than the second erasing power, and an erasing top pulse carrying an erasing top power higher than the second erasing power. A recording beam is emitted onto the second data layer in accordance with the second sequence.
