Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a catalyst for carbon dioxide hydrogenation to methanol having 80-95% w/w of a metal and their oxides; 5-20% w/w of a structural promoter; and 5-10% w/w of a binder of the total weight of the catalyst. Further, the present disclosure also relates to a method for preparation of a catalyst for carbon dioxide hydrogenation to methanol having a) co-precipitating of 80-95% w/w of a metal precursors of the total weight of the catalyst under with a 1.0-1.8M precipitating agent followed by adding 5-20% w/w of a structural promoter of the total weight of the catalyst to obtain an active metal precipitate, b) washing and drying the active metal precipitate under conditions to obtain a dried active metal precipitate followed by calcination under conditions to form a mixed metal oxide, c) adding 5-10% w/w of a binder of the total weight of the catalyst to the 90-95% w/w mixed metal oxides along with 0.5-1.5M peptizing agent, followed by drying and calcination under conditions to obtain a catalyst for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol. The present catalyst yielded higher methanol with higher selectivity.

Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of denitration catalysts, and provides a Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst and a preparation method and use thereof. In the preparation method provided by the present disclosure, during crystallization growth, an aluminum precursor, a phosphorus precursor, a silicon precursor, and a copper complex form a Cu-SAPO-34 molecular sieve catalyst under the guiding action of a template morpholine, and the template in the Cu-SAPO-34 molecular sieve catalyst is removed by roasting to obtain the Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst. In the preparation method, a molar ratio of phosphorus and aluminum in the Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst is controlled at (0.1-5):1, thereby increasing a particle size and a specific surface area of the Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst, which is conducive to adsorption of a reaction gas to improve a denitration efficiency. Meanwhile, aggregation of Cu2+ after hydrothermal aging of the Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst is suppressed, thereby improving a hydrothermal stability of the Cu-SAPO-34 catalyst.

Abstract: A composite catalyst containing heteroatom-doped zeolite for preparing light olefin using direct conversion of syngas is formed by compounding component I and component II in a mechanical mixing mode. The active ingredient of component I is a metal oxide, and the component II is a heteroatom-doped zeolite. The zeolite topology is CHA or AEI, and the skeleton atoms include Al—P—O or Si—Al—P—O; the heteroatoms is at least one of divalent metal Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Zr, Mo, Cd, Ba and Ce, trivalent metal Ti and Ga, and tetravalent metal Ge. A weight ratio of the active ingredient in the component I to the component II is 0.1-20. The reaction process has high light olefin selectivity; the sum selectivity of the light olefin including ethylene, propylene and butylene can reach 50-90%, while the selectivity of a methane side product is less than 7%.

Abstract: Methods of producing a catalyst for oxidation of C2 hydrocarbons and methods of using the catalyst are disclosed. Molybdenum, vanadium, and niobium metal or metal containing compounds are used to form a slurry in water. After agitating the slurry for at least 15 minutes, palladium or a palladium containing compound is added to the slurry. After further agitation, a precipitate is collected, dried and calcined to obtain an active catalyst, with palladium primarily distributed on a surface of the catalyst. The active catalyst is capable of catalyzing the conversion of C2 hydrocarbons into acetic acid.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a methanol reforming catalyst composition comprising a ZnO phase, present in the composition in an amount of 20-75 wt. %; a zinc-aluminum spinel phase, present in the composition in an amount of 20-60 wt. %; and a Cu dopant phase, present in the composition in an amount of 0.1-20 wt. %. In various embodiments, the methanol reforming catalyst can achieve stable high methanol conversion rates and high hydrogen production rates at high temperatures (>300° C.).

Abstract: An integrated catalyst can be used in an olefin disproportionation reaction. The integrated catalyst contains a plurality of different integrated active phases. The relative positions among different active phases remain substantially unchanged during the olefin disproportionation reaction. The effective distance between respective bisecting planes of two adjacent different active phases is 0.5-5 mm, preferably 1-3 mm.
