摘要： A portable electronic apparatus with a power saving function is provided. A preferred embodiment of the apparatus includes a first data storage (11), a temp data storage (12), a power unit (14), a power control unit (13), and a CPU (15). The CPU is for sending a control instruction to the power control unit to control the power control unit to supply power to the first data storage when receiving a read or a write command, implementing a read process of reading data from the first data storage to the second data storage, or implementing a write process of writing data from the second data storage to the first data storage in accordance with the received read or write command, and sending a control instruction to control the power control unit to cut off the power supply of the first data storage after the read or write process is implemented.

The main part is for timely displaying the electronic file received by the receiving unit. The main part may be in either one of a “power-on” state or a “power-off” state. The power controlling unit is located between the power unit and the main part and is for resuming power supply of the main part under control of the receiving unit when the receiving unit receives the electronic file and the main part is checked in the “power-off” state, thereby enabling the main part to timely display the electronic files.

The primary display is in a larger size than that of the secondary display. The primary display is capable of displaying a virtual keyboard in a power off state. The touch pad is positioned on the primary display, and is capable of generating an operational signal in response to a touch operation on the virtual keyboard. The processing unit is configured for recognizing the operational signal from the touch pad and performing a corresponding control on the primary display and the secondary display. A related display method adapted for the portable device is also provided.
