    摘要: An image recording apparatus includes plural recording heads that eject ink to record an image. Different tone characteristics of the images recorded by the recording heads are corrected by individually correcting the image signal for each head to improve the overall image quality of the image provided by the plural recording heads. Non-uniform density of the image recorded by the recording heads can also be corrected before tone correction is effected.

    摘要: A color image recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer forms color image by depositing a plurality of colored inks on a recording medium in a predetermined order. The apparatus includes a device, such as an image reader or a memory, for inputting a plurality of first color component signals that correspond to the plurality of colored inks. The first color component signals are color masked to generate second color component signals to be used for recording, at least one of the second color component signals being corrected in accordance with the predetermined order of recording.

    摘要: Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide photographic element which comprises photographic layers applied under the condition that the surface tension of a coating solution for forming an outermost layer is 6 dyn/cm or more smaller than the surface tension of a solution for forming a layer adjacent to the outermost layer, and satisfying at least one of the conditions shown below:(a) gelatin contained in at least the side of a support having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a hydrophilic colloid layer is in an amount of 2.20 to 3.10 g/m.sup.2,(b) the photographic layers are formed by the constitution such that said coating solution for forming the outermost layer and said solution for forming the layer adjacent thereto each have a viscosity of 20 cp or less.The light-sensitive silver halide photographic element obtained by this invention can be processed with a high speed processing, and has high sensitivity and also excellent pressure resistance and graininess even when subjected to an ultra rapid processing.

    摘要: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material and a process for processing it are disclosed. The light-sensitive material is improved in photographic sensitivity, drying property and anti-roller-mark property and is suitable for the disclosed ultra-rapid processing by an automatic processor in which the photographic material is processed for the time of 20 sec to 60 sec in total. The light-sensitive material comprises a support having on at least one side thereof one or more hydrophilic layers containing gelatin which comprise at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. An amount of the gelatin contained in said hydrophilic layer or layers is within the range of from 1.90 to 3.50 g/m.sup.2 and a swelling amount of said hydrophilic layer or layers is within the range of from 30 to 58 g/m.sup.2 when said light-sensitive material is treated in a specific condition for 15 sec. at 35.degree. C.
