Abstract:
A subject matter of the present invention is the cosmetic use of a combination of a least one nucleophilic agent and of a least one nitrogen-comprising or phosphorus-comprising agent with a pKa of greater than 11 for treating signs of aging and photoaging of the skin related to glycation.
Abstract:
Cosmetic process for caring for and/or making up keratin materials The present invention relates to a cosmetic process for caring for and/or making up keratin materials, comprising at least the steps consisting in: (i) placing all or part of the surface of the said keratin material in contact with an effective amount of at least one emollient active agent chosen from ionic liquids based on guanidinium or dialkylimidazolium, non-volatile or sparingly volatile oils, waxes, thiol derivatives, phosphines, alkaline bases chosen from potassium hydroxide, ammonia, monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, calcium hydroxide, alkaline salts of amino acids, urea and urea derivatives, and guanidine derivatives, and mixtures thereof, (ii) placing the said surface in contact with at least one cosmetic active agent, different from the said emollient active agent, to be incorporated into the keratin at the surface of the said keratin material, and (iii) where appropriate, heating the said surface of the keratin material, steps (ii) and (iii) possibly being performed, independently of each other, prior to, simultaneously with or consecutive to step (i).
Abstract:
Method for producing a shading on the hair, comprising the stage consisting in: subjecting an amount of a composition (100) capable of exhibiting a variation in its hair dyeing or bleaching power under the effect of a chemical and/or energy stimulus to the said stimulus, so as to obtain at least two fractions (1000; 2000) of the said amount each having a hair dyeing or bleaching power distinct from that of the other fraction, the composition (100) being subjected to the stimulus before or after it is brought into contact with the hair and the composition producing, after exposure to the said stimulus and being brought into contact with the hair, a shaded dyeing or bleaching.
Abstract:
This applicator comprises an application surface (16), the application surface (16) having a central region (22) and a peripheral contour line (24) analogous to the contour of the lips of a human being. The central region (22) and the peripheral line (24) being intended to receive the cosmetic product. The peripheral line (24) comprises preferred means (26) for application of the cosmetic product on the lips of the user for applying, opposite the peripheral line (24), a surface mass of cosmetic product that is greater than the surface mass applied opposite the central region (22).
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to an aqueous dispersion comprising: (a) at least one solid wax particle having a particle size ranging from equal to or greater than 1 micron to about 100 microns and comprising at least one wax having a melting point of greater than 35° C.; (b) a surfactant mixture comprising at least one nonionic surfactant and at least one ionic surfactant; and (c) water. The aqueous dispersion may be employed in compositions capable of delivering benefits to various substrates, for example, keratinous substrates such as skin and hair.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system (10) for dispensing a product, comprising a dispenser that can house at least two cartridges, each of which includes a reservoir containing a base product, a first base product comprising at least 0.1 wt.-% particles having a density differential relative to the medium containing same, preferably of at least 0.5 g/cm3, in particular particles having a density greater than or equal to 2 g/cm3, and a thickening agent. The dispenser allows at least two base products to be dispensed in adjustable proportions, the viscosity of the first base product being preferably greater than 2 Pa·s and more preferably greater than or equal to 4 Pa·s.
Abstract:
Cosmetic treatment method for adding fibers to natural eyelashes, comprising: a) applying an adhesive composition (A) to at least part of the eyelashes, b) bringing fibers (12) borne by an applicator (10) into contact with said adhesive composition (A) present on said eyelashes, c) moving the applicator (10) away from the eyelashes, so as to release fibers (12) which adhere to said eyelashes.
Abstract:
Method for manufacturing a personalized applicator for applying a product, notably make-up product, to keratinous materials, including a application surface. The method includes the following steps: a) applying to a surface of the keratinous materials of an individual a composition that modifies the appearance thereof, b) performing an optical acquisition of the topography of the surface thus covered and of at least one image providing information as to the location of the composition, and c) from this acquisition creating the applicator or a mold intended for the manufacture thereof.
Abstract:
System for treating a head of hair, including a pipe for circulating a liquid, a device for feeding the pipe with water, at least one source of product, the product (P1) comprising one or more surfactants, a device for injecting product into the pipe to form a treatment solution comprising one or more surfactants in a content ranging from 0.35% to 1.5% by weight of surfactant(s) relative to the total weight of the treatment solution, a dispensing device for delivering the treatment solution onto the head of hair (B) with a flow rate of between 0.5 and 5 L/min, better still between 0.8 and 3 L/min.
Abstract:
A system for washing the hair, including a first reservoir for receiving a first liquid (L1) constituted by or comprising water, a second reservoir for receiving a second liquid (L2) including a treatment product diluted in water in an amount of less than or equal to 2.5% by weight relative to the total weight of the second liquid (L2), a shower head with a supply rate of between 0.3 and 5 L/min, configured to deliver a jet of droplets onto the hair. The shower head is further supplied with liquid, taken exclusively from one or other of the reservoirs, with an overpressure.
