摘要： The present invention relates to a device and method for selectively bleaching or dyeing a plurality of locks of hair. The device basically comprises a selector comb for selecting the locks to be treated from a portion of hair, and a container provided with at least one compartment that can internally house at least one liquid or pasty product for dyeing or bleaching. The selector comb is partially introduced inside the container and is movable inside and along same, being coupled thereto such that in an operating position of the device, the movement of the comb takes place, causing the gradual introduction of an increasingly longer portion of the locks selected by the comb inside the container at the same time as the gradual opening and communication of the inside of the compartment with the portion of the locks introduced therein, said portion being exposed to the liquid or pasty product.

A female die member is attached to the first jaw and a male die member is attached to the second jaw. The female die member has a first die plate which contains a channel extending around a substantially solid die member. The channel has a depth of from about 0.032 inches to about 0.124 inches. The male die plate has a protruding portion extending around a substantially hallow die member and has a shape corresponding to the shape of the channel in the female die member. The protrusion has a height of from about 0.016 inched to about 0.093 inches. The die plates further include at least two chamfered edges.

摘要： A hair styling system for use with a forced air electric hair dryer constitutes a coupler having a tubular section for receiving the end of an electric hair dryer. This section supports a smaller axially aligned concentric tubular section, with the two sections attached to one another by angularly disposed spacers. Apertures between the spacers permit air to flow over the outside of the smaller tubular section of the coupler. The unattached end of the smaller tubular section extends beyond the larger section and is tapered inwardly toward its central axis. Additional parts of the system include elongated hollow tubular bodies which are closed at one end and open at the other. The open end has an outwardly flared nozzle receiving flange for fitting over the tapered nozzle from the smaller tubular section of the coupler. The tubular bodies have spaced apertures through them at predetermined intervals along their length and about their periphery. Some tubular bodies have a number of spaced circular tapered fins extending radially outwardly from the body. Others of the tubular bodies have an elongated tapered helical fin extending radially outwardly from the bodies along the length.

摘要： The hair coloring system of the present invention comprises a tray that includes three to five color channels, open square bowls for single brushes and an open slot in which brush handles may be placed for storing a number of brushes. Different colors may be squeezed into the channels along with the appropriate mixing solution. A coloring brush is also provided that comprises a handle, hair pick, comb, and brush. The brush portion includes segregated tufts of bristles that correspond to the color channels. The brush may be used to divide the hair into sections, mix the colors, and then to apply the colors to the hair. In this way a single brush and tray combination can do what previously required many different instruments.
