Abstract: Disclosed herein is a mobile terminal including a first frame, a second frame slideably movable from the first frame in a first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a slide frame movable in the first direction or the second direction with respect to the second frame, a flexible display comprising a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region disposed between the first region and the second region, the third region being bent in a manner of surrounding the second frame, and a first magnet positioned on a rear surface of the second frame and configured to provide magnetic force to pull the slide frame or the flexible display. The mobile terminal of the present disclosure may allow the size of the screen to be adjusted as needed, thereby satisfying both portability and usability.

Abstract: A mobile terminal includes a first frame, a second frame slidably-movable in a first direction or in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first frame, a slide frame movable in the first direction or in the second direction with respect to the second frame, a flexible display unit including a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region positioned between the first region and the second region and bent while surrounding the second frame, a driving unit disposed to be positionally biased in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the driving unit provides a force to the second frame to move, and a linear guide positioned between the first frame and the second frame and guiding the movement of the second frame in the first direction or in the second direction. The mobile terminal may improve durability of the flexible display unit by not restricting a point where the flexible display unit is bent to a specific position.

Abstract: A mobile terminal comprises: a first frame; a second frame configured to make a sliding movement in a first direction with regard to the first frame, or in a second direction opposite to the first direction; a rotating gear coupled to the second frame to be able to rotate around an axis of rotation extending in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction; a flexible display unit comprising a first area coupled to the front surface of the first frame and a second area which is bent while surrounding the rotating gear; a first flexible rack gear extending from the first frame in the first direction, the first flexible rack gear being positioned between the flexible display unit and the second frame and being bent while surrounding the rotating gear; and a second flexible rack gear coupled to the back surface of the flexible display unit so as to engage with the rotating gear and rotate accordingly. When expanded, the mobile terminal can be stably supported, thereby solving the problem of sagging of the flexible display unit, or the problem of an error occurring during a touch input.

Abstract: A mobile terminal includes a first frame having a first side-face, a second frame moveable in a first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first frame, and having a second side-face facing the first side-face, and a slide bar positioned between the first side-face and the second side-face, and extending in the first direction, wherein the second frame moves in the first direction to convert a state of the mobile terminal from a first state in which the first frame and the second frame are overlapped with each other to a second state, and wherein the second frame moves in the second direction to convert the state from the second state to the first state. The mobile terminal reduces friction between the first and second frames through a simple slide structure, so that the state conversion between the first and second states is easy.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a mobile terminal including a first frame, a second frame, a slide frame movable with respect to the second frame in a first direction or a second direction, a flexible display including a third region bent to surround the second frame, and a rolling plate attached to a rear of the flexible display. The second frame includes a side portion at an end thereof facing in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a slide rail formed on the side portion. The rolling plate includes a plurality of support bars extending in the third direction and arranged in the first direction, and a slide hook protruding from an end of each of the support bars and movably inserted into the slide rail. The terminal may maintain the display in a flat state by preventing the display from being separated when the second frame is moved.
