Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a paging method and apparatus for an IMS service. A method which supports paging to provide an internet protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) service to a terminal in a network node in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of: receiving downlink data forwarded to the terminal; when there is a determination to apply differentiated paging to the downlink data, adding information indicating that the differentiated paging is applied, to a message including the downlink data; and transmitting the message including information indicating that the differentiated paging is applied, to another network node.
Abstract:
The present description discloses a public land mobile network (PLMN) selection method. The PLMN selection method comprises the steps of: running a first timer if a first request message has been transmitted multiple times to a first network node in a first PLMN, but a response message has not been received; selecting a second PLMN after the first timer has been started; and maintaining, without stopping, the first timer, which has been run for the first PLMN, even if a second request message has been sent to a second network node in the second PLMN, and an acceptance message for same has been received, wherein the retransmission, by reselecting the first PLMN, of the first request to the first network node in the first PLMN can be prevented until the first timer has expired.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, a control method and device based on multiple priorities in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method of controlling a back-off timer in a terminal configured with multiple priorities, which includes transmitting a first non-access stratum (NAS) request message set to a first priority level, starting the back-off timer configured by a network, and transmitting a second NAS request message, which is not set to the first priority level, while the back-off timer runs.
Abstract:
A method performed by a terminal operating in a wireless communication system. Based on that the terminal is located in a non-allowed area, and based on the terminal having a pending uplink signaling to inform a change in a Packet Switch (PS) data off status of the terminal, the terminal transmits a service request message to a network node. The service request message includes service type information that is related to the change in the PS data off status of the terminal. The terminal then receives, from the network node, a response message to the service request message.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and a device for processing network slice selection assistance information (NSSAI) rejected due to a network slice-specific authentication and authorization (NSSAA) failure. A user equipment (UE) receives a UE configuration update command message from an access and mobility management function (AMF). On the basis of failure of NSSAA with respect to single NSSAI (S-NSSAI0, the UE configuration update command message includes time information related to a timer. The UE adds the S-NSSAI to a rejected NSSAI, starts the timer on the basis of the time information, and deletes the S-NSSAI included in the rejected NSSAI after the timer expires.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for a UE to perform communication. The method includes transmitting a NAS request message to a first AMF; receiving a NAS response message from the first AMF; transmitting a registration request message to a second AMF; and receiving a registration acceptance message including LADN information from the second AMF.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing relay communication by a first UE. The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting a request message including UE ID, relay information, UE type information, and UE public key information to an application server through a 5G core network; receiving, from the application server, a security-related message in response to the request message; establishing a security link with the relay UE on the basis of first credential information; and receiving an IP message for configuring a security channel in an IP layer from a second UE.
Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for operating a session management function (SMF) node for managing a protocol data unit (PDU) session. The method can comprise a step of obtaining analysis information from a network data analytics function (NWDAF) node. The obtained analysis information can comprise information relating to a user equipment (UE) presence pattern analysis in a local are data network (LADN) service area. The method can comprise a step of determining a procedure to be performed for the LADN PDU session on the basis of the information relating to the UE presence pattern analysis.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method in which a UE performs communication related to PS Data Off. The method may comprise: a step for transmitting a first PDU session establishment request message in order to establish a PDU session associated with non-3GPP access or 3GPP access; and a step for transmitting a second PDU session establishment request message in order to perform a handover between the non-3GPP access and the 3GPP access for the PDU.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides an operating method for an authentication server function (AUSF) apparatus. The operating method comprises the steps of: requesting a unified data management (UDM) apparatus for information about a serving access and mobility management function (AMF) apparatus for user equipment (UE); receiving, from the UDM apparatus, information indicating that the serving AMF apparatus for the UE is not present and an indication indicating or instructing maintenance of information about authentication and authorization for each network slice; receiving, from the UDM apparatus, information about a new serving AMF apparatus for the UE; and transmitting, to the new serving AMF apparatus, the information about authentication or authorization.
