Abstract:
Systems and methods of automatically operating dehumidifiers in response to dehumidifier operating conditions are disclosed herein. A method of operating a dehumidifier configured in accordance with one embodiment includes directing air flow through the dehumidifier at a first volumetric flow rate while the dehumidifier is operating at a first operating condition. The method further includes changing the first volumetric flow rate to a second volumetric flow rate when the first operating condition of the dehumidifier changes to a predetermined second operating condition.
Abstract:
A pallet washing apparatus and its associated methodology, wherein all of the pallets in a vertical stack of pallets are cleaned simultaneously, the stack being vertically expanded to provide a separation distance between each pallet, with each pallet then being delivered onto individual conveyors passing through washing, rinsing and drying stations, such that cleaning spray may be directed against all surfaces of each pallet, all of the pallets then being restacked for removal in a single stack.
Abstract:
A securement system (100) includes a device which permits a portion of a catheter or similar medical article to be easily anchored to a patient, desirably without the use of tape or needles and suture. A securement system for an elongated medical article comprises an anchor pad (110) and a retainer (120) mounted upon the anchor pad. The retainer (120) includes a channel (130) that has at least one abutment surface (160) corresponding to a contact surface on the medical article and a groove (210) configured to receive a spline (40) of the medical article. The medical article is placed into the channel (130). The medical article is secured within the channel by retaining at least one spline (40) and contact surface on the medical article.
Abstract:
An apparatus for vertically separating stacked pallets a sufficient distance such that each pallet in the stack can be cleaned, with the pallets then immediately restacked after cleaning.

Abstract:
A pedal adjuster which may be used with a pedal device such as a bicycle or stationary bicycle and which allows a user to tilt pedals relative to the horizontal plane in order to accommodate a foot that is everted or inverted relative to the vertical midline of the user's body. The illustrated embodiment of this invention includes an outer tube with a plurality of locking pin holes and a means for attachment to a crank arm, an inner rod housed coaxially within the outer tube and having a means for attachment to a pedal and a means for adjustably positioning the inner rod within the outer tube.
Abstract:
An apparatus for straight-lining construction material comprises an extension coupled to a rip fence and a carrier assembly coupled to the top of the extension, in which the carrier assembly travels along the extension to deliver the material to a saw blade. The carrier assembly comprises a sled, a plurality of clamp assemblies and a guide, the sled and the plurality of adjustable clamp assemblies coupled to the guide. The guide has a recess receiving the extension. Each one of the plurality of clamp assemblies secures the material in position.
Abstract:
A method for verifying solutions provided by a solution network which includes automatically associating a call from a customer with a solution that is provided to the customer to solve an issue, waiting a predetermined amount of time to verify whether the customer contacts the solution network again and indicates a successful resolution to the issue if no contact is made by the customer within the predetermined amount of time.
Abstract:
A method for searching potential solutions within a solution network. The method includes authoring a solution to solve an issue, storing the solution within a decision tree relating to the issue, and searching the solution network based upon the issue. The searching includes accessing the decision tree relating to the issue.
