摘要： A nonwoven web is prepared from a polymeric blend comprising at least one elastomer and at least one thermoplastic resin. The nonwoven web comprises fibers produced by melt blowing the polymeric blend. Conventional techniques are used to accomplish the melt blowing but due to high viscosity of certain elastomers it is frequently necessary to degrade the polymer blend priior to melt blowing. The nonwoven web exhibits improved extensibility, texture and hand.

摘要： A seal layer for use in large institutional-sized retort pouches comprises an ABA film structure wherein the A layers are each composed of a blend of a minor amount of an elastomer and a major amount of a polyolefin, and the B layer is composed of a blend of a major amount of an elastomer and a minor amount of a polyolefin. Retort pouches made with this ABA film structure as the seal layer exhibits improved impact strength.

摘要： Thermoplastic compositions useful as molded parts including automotive hoses and exterior body parts which exhibit good flow and good surface characteristics in injection molded parts. The compositions comprise equal proportions of a polyolefin, a halogenated butyl rubber and polychloroprene wherein the rubbers have been dynamically vulcanized to a fully cured state in the presence of the polyolefin.
