    摘要: The present invention provides an optical pick-up device capable of suppressing the inclination of a lens actuator in the jitter direction caused by the variation of the ambient temperature thereof to stably record or reproduce information to or from an optical disk. In the optical pick-up device, a supporting member 106 for fixing one end of each of suspension members 105 is arranged on a rear side of a suspension holder 2 fixed to a yoke base 103, and an object lens 102 is displaced by servo-controlling a lens holder 101 for holding the other ends of the suspension members in an electromagnetic driving manner to adjust the irradiation position of a beam spot on an optical disk. The suspension holder 2 is formed of a plurality of members having different coefficients of linear expansion, and the members having a higher coefficient of linear expansion are arranged on the rear side of the suspension holder 2. Therefore, the supporting member 106 is displaced by the linear expansion of the members having a higher coefficient of linear expansion according to the variation of temperature, thereby suppressing inclination of a lens actuator L.

    摘要: A recording medium loading apparatus is capable of loading a disc cartridge 13 and discs 11, 12 without being enfolded in a cartridge. In the loading apparatus, the inserted discs 11, 12 and the disc cartridge 13 are transferred between an eject position and a loaded position. Clip discs 74 for holding the outer circumferences of the discs 11, 12 and a cartridge lever 77 are installed on a carrier unit 70. Therefore, the recording medium loading apparatus can load various types of recording media and the installation space can be reduced.

    摘要: A disk apparatus has a head carriage and a head carriage drive mechanism. The head carriage drive mechanism has voice coil motors located on each side of the head carriage. The voice coil motors each have a drive coil, the two drive coils having different numbers of turns and being connected in parallel to a power source. The two voice coil motors generate identical propulsive forces despite having a different number of turns in the respective drive coils, making it possible to move the head carriage with precision. A head carriage position detecting mechanism is included in a space formed beneath the drive coil having the smaller number of turns, for added precision in positioning the head carriage.

    摘要: There is provided a disk apparatus in which a slide member is movable in predetermined directions by engaging guiding holes provided on side surfaces of the slide member with engaging protrusions provided on respective side walls of a frame. The slide member and a latch lever are biased by a single spring. The holder is supported by a supporting member provided on the slide member. The holder has a hole which aligns with the supporting member to enable the holder to move downwardly. The holder is movable between a first position and a second position. The disk cartridge is ejected at the first position, and is loaded at the second position. The slide member holds the holder and is movable between a third position and a fourth position so that the holder is at the second position when the slide member is at the third position and the holder is at the first position when the slide member is at the fourth position. The frame has side walls extending in the insertion direction. The slide member is slidably supported by upper ends of the side walls. A guiding hole is provided on a side of the slide member. An engaging protrusion is provided on at least one of the side walls. The engaging protrusion extends in the insertion direction, and engages with the guiding hole so that the slide member is slidable only in an extending direction of the guiding hole.

A housing which accommodates a disk has an opening portion via which a head seeks a desired track on the disk. The opening portion is aligned in the second dimension. Since the head moves in the second dimension, it is not necessary to provide a space in the first dimension for moving the head. Therefore, the disk storage according to the present invention can be made thinner in the first dimension than the conventional disk storage in which the head moves through the opening portion in the first dimension.
