摘要： An image recording apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium includes a conveying belt for supporting and conveying the recording medium, and a recording head for recording the image by jetting ink onto the recording medium. The apparatus further includes a plurality of cleaning rollers for cleaning the conveying belt, the cleaning rollers being in pressure-contact with the conveying belt, and a plurality of cleaning liquid baths for respectively storing cleaning liquid to be used to remove dirt deposited on the respective cleaning rollers and for dipping the respective cleaning rollers into the cleaning liquid. The apparatus uses liquid waste as cleaning liquid in a cleaning liquid bath on an upstream side of the conveying belt, the liquid waste having become unable to be used in a cleaning liquid bath on a downstream side of the conveying belt any longer as cleaning liquid.

摘要： An inkjet recording apparatus is provided with a recording head to conduct recording by jetting an ink onto a recording medium having an ink receiving layer containing thermoplastic in particles on a surface thereof and a pigment ink solvent absorbing layer adjoining to an inner side of the ink receiving layer; a heating and pressing device to heat and press the recording medium so as to make the ink receiving layer of the recording medium to be transparent; a conveyor to convey the recording medium to the recording head and further to the heating and pressing device; and a temperature controller to control a heating temperature by the heating and pressing device within a range of T0±&Dgr;T° C., where T0 is 50 to 150° C. and &Dgr;T is not larger than 10° C.

摘要： A method controls a display for a copying machine including a device having two-dimensional dot displaying device in which displaying layers for at least two colors of red and green are provided and capable of displaying at least four colors red, green, white, and black by combining the displaying layers. The method is made up of the steps of providing storing device including a memory space which corresponds to a display of the dot displaying device and in which addresses are sequentially assigned. The system then calculates display information of one-dimensional absolute address position information in response to display information in which coordinate information is made into two-dimensional coordinate information. This display information is stored in the storing device, and then supplied to the displaying device so as to be displayed. The display device is primarily a dot type device.

摘要： An operating panel of a copying apparatus including an operation mode for setting a function selected from a plurality of functions of the copying apparatus. The operating panel includes a display surface provided with a touch panel sensor device. By manipulating the display surface, the function can be designated and the designation can be cancelled. The designated function is deleted from the display surface. Inputs relating to the designated function are made inefficient so that the function becomes inoperative.

摘要： A torsion bar suspension is provided with a torsion bar connected to a lower suspension arm and independent of the connection between the lower suspension arm and a vehicle body. The torsion arm is connected to the lower arm at a position remote from the position in which the lower arm is connected to the vehicle body. The torsion bar suspension also includes a compression rod connecting the lower suspension arm to the vehicle body, which compression arm is located outward of the torsion bar and is connected to the vehicle body at a point rearward of its connection to the lower arm. A bushing assembly is provided between the vehicle body and the lower arm allowing lateral and vertical movement of the lower arm relative to the vehicle body.
