摘要: The present invention relates to gaming systems and methods where enablement for play of a bonus game is linked to play of a primary game. A player may qualify for the bonus game by preselected criteria associated with play of the primary game. The qualified players may participate in the bonus game and compete against one another in one or more rounds to achieve a final winning outcome based on the individual player's skill, strategy, or knowledge. The player who achieves the final winning outcome at the end of a plurality of rounds of the bonus game is awarded a bonus pool funded by a portion of wagers accumulated during play of the primary game.

摘要: Techniques for simulating real (or live) gaming environments are disclosed. A virtual gaming environment effectively connects a number of people together by connecting a number of computing devices (e.g., personal computers, gaming machines). The virtual gaming environment provides a view of a virtual gaming area (e.g., a virtual gaming table) where a number of individuals (or players) and a person acting as the host are effectively represented. In this virtual gaming area, the players and host can interact with each other via audio and/or video input/output devices. As a result, a live gaming environment where players can see, hear, and converse with each other, as well as a live host (e.g., a dealer) is effectively simulated.

摘要: A gaming method, apparatus and system for playing a game of chance is disclosed in which a plurality of gaming machines may be linked together for mutually competitive play. According to one embodiment, two or more gaming machines are linked to a centrally located display exhibiting a game board comprising one or more groups of earmarkable cells in one or more groups. Players on the gaming machines wager and attempt to achieve winning outcomes which earmark cells in the group with designators of their respective gaming machines. When a predetermined number or configuration of cells of a group are earmarked, an award may be distributed to those gaming machines having earmarked cells according to the number of designators within that group associated with each gaming machine. The game of chance may be configured for play on an individual gaming machine.

摘要: A motorized window blind actuator including input means for receiving regulated voltage and first variable reference voltage signal. A motor having an output shaft which connects to the window blinds to open and close the window blinds is controlled by a controller/driver component. A transducer is operatively associated with the output shaft of the motor to assist in producing a second voltage reference signal which is related to the actual position of the motor output shaft, and in turn related to the actual position of the slats of the window blind. The first voltage reference signal is related to the desired setting and position of the window blind. First and second voltage reference signals are continually compared. If they are sufficiently different, the motor is directed by the controller/driver to adjust the window blinds until signals are sufficiently the same, or, until the output shaft of the motor hits physical limits which cause an over current situation resulting in stoppage of the motor.

摘要: Disclosed is a stepping motor control utilizing a microprocessor. The control is suitable for driving one or more stepping motors one at a time or in unison. In the illustrated embodiment when plural motors are driven together they are driven at the same rate or at rates in a fixed proportion to one another although several of the features of the invention are suitable for use in circuits providing contouring control; i.e., where separate motors are driven at separate stepping rates proportional to the relative distances each is to traverse for a single movement. An acceleration/deceleration circuit is utilized which provides simple yet highly accurate and efficient control of the stepping motors. Feed rate compensation for simultaneous drive of two motors is provided. Also a means is provided to allow stepping rates in excess of the counting rate capability of the microprocessor.

摘要: In a control apparatus for a machine tool, an interpolator circuit for determining whether or not one of the axis motors should be inhibited on the next step to maintain the tool closer to the desired circular path. The interpolator utilizes information as to the distance from the initial position of the tool to the center of the arc defining the path of travel and which axis is to be inhibited initially to determine when to inhibit. The main logic circuit in the control apparatus begins a move of the number of steps equal to the distance to be moved along the axis which represents the shorter distance between the initial point and the center of the arc. The interpolator presets a counter with that number of steps subtracted from the number of steps equal to the distance to be moved along the other axis and increments that counter by one each time the selected motor is inhibited. At the octant point, the main logic circuit adds the counter total to the number of steps yet to be moved and continues the move while the counter total is converted to its negative and the counter is incremented by one for each time the other motor is inhibited. When the main logic circuit determines that the all of the steps have been moved, the counter total represents any correction to be made.
