摘要: A control circuit includes a storage unit, a generation unit, an update unit, and a rotation control unit. The storage unit stores a predetermined number of register values to designate a step frequency of a stepper motor. The generation unit generates a micro step clock signal every time a period corresponding to each of the predetermined number of register values stored in the storage unit elapses. The update unit updates the predetermined number of register values stored in the storage unit every time the generation unit generates the predetermined number of micro step clock signals. The rotation control unit supplies a phase current based on the micro step clock signal generated by the generation unit to the stepper motor to rotate a rotor of the stepper motor by a micro step angle found by equally dividing a step angle of the stepper motor into the predetermined number.

A resolution scaler is coupled to an output of the timing extractor to scale the virtual quadrature trigger signals to adjust the transition frequency, thereby adjusting the resolution of an image captured by a camera receiving the trigger signals to be different than the print resolution created by the motor drive signals. A quadrature decoder is coupled to the output of the resolution scaler, wherein the quadrature decoder extracts timing and direction information from the virtual quadrature trigger signals received from the resolution scaler.

摘要: When field strengthening is constantly performed during driving by a drive motor to inhibit a rotating speed of the drive motor from suddenly fluctuating, power consumption is increased. The field strengthening is performed only during a period during which the field strengthening is required to be performed. Thus, it is possible to reduce a period during which a current value is set to a d-axis current command value (the field strengthening is performed) while the motor is driven. This can prevent increased power consumption.

摘要: A motor control apparatus operates in a first control mode in which the values of a torque current component and an excitation current component are controlled so that the difference between an instruction phase and a rotation phase is decreased and a second control mode in which constant current is supplied to a winding of a motor. The second control mode is switched to the first control mode if the rotation speed is varied from a value lower than a first threshold value to a value not lower than the first threshold value in the second control mode and the first control mode is kept even if the rotation speed is varied from a value not lower than the first threshold value to a value that is not lower than a second threshold value and that is lower than the first threshold value in the first control mode.

摘要: A sheet conveying apparatus for conveying a sheet includes a conveyance roller, a motor, a phase determiner, and a controller. The phase determiner determines a rotor rotation phase of the motor that drives the conveyance roller to convey the sheet. The controller controls so that a value of a rotor torque current component becomes a target value of the torque current component and controls so that an excitation current component value becomes a target value of the excitation current component, and controls to reduce a deviation between a command phase and the determined rotation phase. The controller controls so that a magnetic flux penetrating through a winding is weaker than a magnetic flux of the rotor, and so that a magnetic flux penetrating through the winding in a second period is stronger than the magnetic flux penetrating through the winding in the first period.

An integral gain is set as a value calculated by multiplying an initial value, by a ratio J/Jm of total inertia of a machine relative to rotor inertia of the servomotor, and a value set smaller than the square of a velocity gain magnification according to delay time of the velocity control loop. A proportional gain is a value calculated by adding a value according to a difference in calculation cycle between the integral term and the proportional term, and the integral gain, to a value calculated by multiplying an initial value by the ratio J/Jm and the velocity gain magnification.
