摘要: An electronic brake device for use with a wheel of a bicycle provides, among other features, wireless, remote disengagement of a wheel brake. A brake coupled to a housing is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The housing includes a receiver configured to receive a command signal, and a processor operative to identify the received command signal. If the command signal is identified as a first command signal, the processor outputs a first control signal. An electric motor is operatively coupled to the brake to selectively move the brake from the engaged position in which the wheel of the bicycle is being braked to the disengaged position in which the wheel of the bicycle is free of any brake contact in response to the first control signal. Measured movement of the brakes between fully braked or fully disengaged positions are possible in the disclosed arrangement.

摘要: A housing for a slate tablet computer is composed of a frame component and an input component. The frame component is removably attached to the input component. A support mechanism attached to the input component, wherein the support mechanism extends from the input component to oppose inadvertent rotating of the slate tablet computer housing around a hinge connecting the frame component and the input component. In an alternate implementation, a support mechanism attached to the frame component is used to prevent the inadvertent rotating of the slate tablet computer housing around a hinge connecting the frame component and the input component.

摘要: The dispensing of substances from multi-chamber containers, such as tubes, can be controlled by the placement of a flow modifying unit in the dispensing nozzle of the container. The dispensing nozzle will have a plurality of channels, usually one for each chamber. The flow controlling unit is a constriction at an intermediate point, a point between the channel inlet and exit, in at least one of the channels. This constriction is sized to adjust flow so that the viscous substance from each chamber is dispensed at a set flow rate and in a set ratio, one to the other. The constriction is formed at the time that the nozzle is formed. In the compression molding process a mold pin is used, the mold pin meeting a mold base at an intermediate point in at least one channel. The mold pin and or mold base has a recess that is the size and shape of the flow modifying constriction. Plastic is injected into the mold and the flow modifying unit is formed at the same time as the nozzle.

摘要: A method for reducing defect leakage current in a semiconductor memory device comprising a plurality of memory banks, each memory bank comprising a plurality of memory arrays and sense amplifier columns comprising a plurality of sense amplifiers, wherein there is a sense amplifier column positioned between and shared by memory arrays on opposites thereof. At least one bank-specific isolation control signal is independently generated for each of the plurality of memory banks depending on existence and location of an anomalous bitline leakage in a memory bank. The at least one bank-specific isolation control signal is supplied to at least one sense amplifier column in the corresponding memory bank to isolate at least one side to at least one memory array that is in an unselected state in a corresponding memory bank.

摘要: Multiplexer control logic is provided for a semiconductor memory device that combines the function of programmable disconnect-state with a dynamic or dynamic latching mode that operates during self-refresh. The programmable disconnect state disconnects the sense amplifier from a memory array segment when it is unselected. When a memory array segment is being accessed, (such as during self-refresh), the multiplexers are latched into a selected state thereby eliminating the multiplexer switching current while the memory array segment is being accessed.

摘要: The administration of gaseous nitric oxide as a biocidal moiety is proffered as a de novo treatment in the control and eradication of biofilms. The present invention relates to the use or methods of application of exogenous nitric oxide gas (gNO) as a stand alone biocidal agent or in cohort with any or all adjunct vehicles in the control of biofilms generated by microbial organisms, i.e., bacteria, protozoa, amoeba, fungi etc. Further, the present invention introduces the concept of utilization and methods of application of gaseous nitric oxide in control and eradication of biofilm forming microorganisms. Other embodiments include the use of a nitric oxide releasing material to eradicate and-control the growth of biofilms. Another embodiment includes the use of a gaseous nitric oxide releasing material packaged in an air-tight container with a medical device to prevent the growth of biofilm on the medical device.
