The stereomicroscope includes a base 1 that places a sample thereon, a microscope body 9 having a pair of left and right observation optical systems for observing the sample and a photographing optical system that leads the light from the sample substantially corresponding to the focusing center of the observation optical systems to a imaging means 17, a column 3 that is disposed on the base 1 and supports the microscope body 9, a support means that supports the imaging means 17, and a connecting means 13 that rotatably connects the microscope body 9 to the column 3. An optical axis I of the photographing optical system becomes substantially parallel to a rotation axis O of the connecting means.

摘要: In a head unit of a printer, a head (5A) has outlet rows (611, 612, 621 and 622) arranged along a first tilt direction and a gap between outlets in the outlet rows (611 and 612) is interpolated with a outlet in the outlet rows (621 and 622) by a slight tilt. A head (5C) adjacent to the head (5A) is tilted in a second tilt direction opposite to the first tilt direction. In the printer, a plurality of dots are formed, being aligned on a piece of printing paper in the first tilt direction by performing an ejection control simultaneously for all outlets in each outlet row of the head (5A) and subsequently a plurality of dots are formed, being aligned on the piece of printing paper in the second tilt direction by performing an ejection control simultaneously for all the outlets in each outlet row of the head (5C), to make both rows of dots continuous. Through this operation, the printer can easily perform high-resolution printing without such a complicate ejection control as to control ejection of ink for each outlet (7).

摘要: A simple circuit configuration without increasing the number of magnetic poles of a magnet can be performed and angular resolution can be improved. The polarities is determined and the absolute values are compared in accordance with the rotation angle of a magnet (1) based on sensor output signals a and b outputted from the magnetic sensors (2) and (3) to produce polarity determination signals c and d and absolute-value-comparison signals e, f, and g. The rotation angle of the magnet (1) is determined based on the polarity determination signals c and d and the absolute-value-comparison signals e, f, and g to output a determination result signal h.

摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus includes: a timer (26) that outputs a signal upon measurement of a predetermined time that is longer than a predetermined cycle during a period for which recording heads (8, 9) are released from a cap member (uncapped period) after a print command has been outputted; and a flushing control means (27) that control to move the recording heads (8, 9) to an ink receiving means so that the recording heads jet ink droplets, in response to the signal from the timer (26), and to reset the timer (26). If the predetermined time set to the timer (26) is up during uncapped period, the flushing control means (27) flushes a maximum number of ink droplets, and upon end of a single round of printing, the flushing control means (27) flushes a number of ink droplets corresponding to a time measured by the timer (26).

摘要: A tube pump for an ink jet printer includes a driving wheel that is selectively driven in a forward or reverse direction in accordance with the rotation of a drive source. The driving wheel contains two slots that extend symmetrically and radially from the center of the driving wheel. The pump also includes two rollers that are coupled to the drive wheel via roller shafts respectively extending from a radial center of the rollers into the slots. A pressing piece is also provided that forces the shafts into the radially outermost end of the slots to press a tube of the tube pump when said drive wheel rotates in reverse and forces the shafts into the radially innermost end of the slots to not press the tube when said drive wheel rotates in the forward direction. In an alternative arrangement, the tube pump contains a pump chamber, and a tube having an .alpha.-like-shaped loop portion is inserted into and disposed along the inner wall of the pump chamber. A driving wheel train is provided, rotated around a shaft of the pump chamber, and has a single roller that cooperates with the inner wall of the pump chamber to press the tube. Also, a guide slot is formed in the driving wheel train to transfer the roller between a tube pressurizing state and a tube nonpressurizing state based on the rotation of the driving wheel train.
