    摘要: A vacuum transfer apparatus including an auxiliary vacuum chamber and a main vacuum chamber is used for transferring an uneven pattern to a disk substrate with a stamper. The auxiliary vacuum chamber is vacuumized or opened to air because the disk substrate is conveyed to and from the vacuum transfer apparatus through the auxiliary vacuum chamber. The disk substrate conveyed to the auxiliary vacuum chamber and then to the main vacuum chamber after the auxiliary vacuum chamber is vacuumized. In the main vacuum chamber, transferring of the uneven pattern with the stamper, curing of UV-curable resin, and removal of the stamper are performed to provide a disk substrate with the uneven pattern. Then, the disk substrate is conveyed from the vacuum transfer apparatus through the auxiliary vacuum chamber. An operation at the auxiliary-vacuum-chamber side and an operation at the main-vacuum-chamber side are performed in parallel.

    摘要: A compact disk (DVD) manufacturing machine is used to laminate first and second DVD substrates to produce a DVD, and mainly includes a glue applicator for applying a glue ring on a laminating surface of each DVD substrate; a DVD laminator for turning the first DVD substrate to the second one at predetermined speeds, allowing the glue rings to contact with each other before the two DVD substrates are slowly laminated; and a rotating element below a fixed sucker of the DVD laminator for rotating the laminated DVD substrates and ensuring even spread of the glue between the two substrates without producing blisters. Since the gluing and the laminating are synchronously performed at two different positions on a turntable of the machine, an increased productivity may be obtained.

    摘要: An adhesive agent is applied to both single plates, upper and lower, in which case the formation of bubbles is minimized by using a specified application manner. A method of laminating optical disks (D) comprising the steps of placing a lower disk single sheet (D1) on a turntable (1), applying an adhesive agent (R1) in doughnut form to the lower disk single sheet (D1), placing an upper disk single sheet (D2) on another turntable (2), applying an adhesive agent (R2) in doughnut form to the upper disk single sheet (D2), placing the upper disk single sheet (D2) on the lower disk single sheet (D1), and spreading the adhesive agent (% 2) between the two disk single sheets by rotating the turntables. Since bubbles hardly enter the adhesive agent, the bubble content of the adhesive agent after spreading is very small, and even after the curing subsequent to ultraviolet ray radiation, the air content of the optical disk can be minimized, the quality being high.
