    摘要: An electromagnetically controlled shutter with a latch member held in an active position by an electromagnet containing a permanent magnet and operating upon de-magnetization of the electromagnet to release the shutter. To prevent reduction of the attractive force by the adhesion of dust, oil or the like to the attracting surface of the electromagnet and also to improve the ramping characteristics of the shutter, an arrangement is provided such that when the electromagnet is de-energized, the shutter latching member is pulled away from the electromagnet by a breakaway spring. Then the breakaway spring impels the shutter to run down in an early stage, and loses its impelling force. Soon after that, the shutter latching member is returned to the attracted position by an attracting spring.

    摘要: An in-focus state detecting device which is provided with erroneous signal discriminating means is arranged such that: The lens cap of a photo-taking lens has the whole surface or a part of the surface thereof formed into a diffuse transmission face. With this lens cap put on the photo-taking lens, a light flux is allowed to be diffused by the diffuse transmission face to obtain a uniform brightness face at the cap. Then, a light flux from the uniform brightness face of the cap is guided to the in-focus detecting device to perform a checking operation with the discriminating means to check for an erroneous action of the device.

    摘要: A device which detects the focus condition of an optical system with respect to an object, includes a sensor having at least one sensing surface, the senor providing an electrical indication to associated circuitry corresponding to light which has passed through the optical system.     摘要: A conversion system for a camera of a type controlled through computation of digital information. The system converts a coded digital value into a digital value of another coding. The code which comprises a gray code representing an integer part of the value and a code pattern representing a decimal part of the value is converted in such a manner that: The integer part is converted into a binary code while the decimal part is converted into a code to which a weight of 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8 is applied. With such a method of conversion employed, values set at 1/3 increment or decrement steps such as ASA film sensitivity values are readily converted into binary codes to facilitate the computing operation of the camera.

    摘要: An automatic exposure control camera wherein the aperture preset ring in the photographic lens of the electromagnetic aperture control system for controlling the automatic aperture mechanism by means of the electromagnetic attracting means is charged at the totally opened position by means of the driving mechanism at the side of the camera every time a photograph is taken. By means of the shutter release operation, the aperture preset ring is moved from the totally opened position to the most closed position so as to determine the aperture value of the aperture preset ring.
