摘要: An in-focus state detecting device which is provided with erroneous signal discriminating means is arranged such that: The lens cap of a photo-taking lens has the whole surface or a part of the surface thereof formed into a diffuse transmission face. With this lens cap put on the photo-taking lens, a light flux is allowed to be diffused by the diffuse transmission face to obtain a uniform brightness face at the cap. Then, a light flux from the uniform brightness face of the cap is guided to the in-focus detecting device to perform a checking operation with the discriminating means to check for an erroneous action of the device.

摘要: A color scanner for converting color data of a color original (e.g., a photographic film) into an electrical signal, includes a level comparator for discriminating the type of film (e.g., color negative vs. color positive, color vs. monochrome, type of color negative) in accordance with output signals, e.g., color component signals, from a sensor (i.e., based on a light transmittance of an unexposed portion of the film). The output from the level comparator is supplied to an accumulation time control block through a register, a selector, and the like. The accumulation time control block corrects the electrical signal based on the discrimination result from the level comparator irrespective of the type of film, so that an accumulation time of the sensor is changed by changing a bias voltage applied thereto.

摘要: A focusing state detecting or distance measuring apparatus or camera which measures a focusing state or distance of an object for a plurality of different areas in a scene. The apparatus or camera includes a light receiver for receiving a light beam associated with each area associated in the scene at a light receiving portion corresponding to each area. Each light receiving portion has a plurality of elements and provides an output corresponding to the received light. The apparatus also includes a processing circuit for performing calculation and regulation functions. When performing a calculation function, the circuit performs a correlation calculation on an output of each of the light receiving portions to detect a focusing state or distance for each light receiving portion. When performing a regulation function, the circuit sets a range of elements of each light receiving portion whose outputs are subject to the correlation calculation When the correlation calculation is to be performed at a particular light receiving portion and the correlation calculation at an other light receiving portion has already been performed, the circuit sets the range elements of the particular light receiving portion whose outputs are subject to the correlation calculation based on the result of the correlation calculation for the other light receiving portion.

摘要: A distance measuring apparatus provided with a plurality of light-emitting units and a plurality of light-receiving units. The light emission period of each of the light-emitting units is changed over at each predetermined period interval. A plurality of light-receiving elements constituting each light-receiving unit are constructed so as to receive the reflected lights from a plurality of distance measurement fields of view on an object to be photographed in a plurality of distance measurement zones obtained by dividing a range to be measured into several blocks. The input signal from each of the light-receiving elements in each of the distance measurement zones is changed over in synchronism with the light emission period of the light-emitting units and the output signals for the respective distance measurement zones are compared, whereby a distance data indicative of the distance measurement zone most approximate to the object distance is put out.
