    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE), including determining that future or past simultaneous first and second signal transmissions by first and second transceivers pursuant to a dual subscription dual active (DSDA) mode of operation may exceed or has exceeded a maximum allowed transmit power, respectively; and performing at least one operation to reduce an occurrence, likelihood or frequency of the future simultaneous first and second signal transmissions exceeding the maximum allowed transmit power in the DSDA mode of operation, respectively.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support dynamic spectrum sharing for multiple radio protocols, such as New Radio and Long Term Evolution. Systems may implement a number of techniques to improve spectrum use by user equipment in dynamically shared frequency spectrums. In some aspects, the network may assign a user equipment to a specific bandwidth part based on a rate matching capability of the user equipment. Additionally or alternatively, the network may activate a specific bandwidth part based on the frequency of handover for a user equipment. In some aspects, the network may support dual registration (e.g., registration in a same frequency spectrum using different radio protocols) for a user equipment operating on a dynamically shared spectrum. To reduce the control overhead for such a user equipment, the network may use a single control channel to schedule data for multiple radio protocols.

    Abstract: Bandwidth Parts (BWPs) are used for the transmission and measurement of positioning reference signals during a positioning session. A location server may obtain relevant BWP information, such as the active BWP or a list of configured BWPs, from one or more base stations and/or the user equipment (UE) for the positioning session. The location server may provide assistance data to the UE that is determined based on the BWP information, so that the UE may measure PRS signals from intra-frequency base stations. The location server may further determine a preferred BWP or prohibited BWPs, which may be forwarded to the serving base station to control the BWPs that are used during the positioning session.

    Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) may receive a coverage mode transition request at a first time and upon determining that the coverage mode transition request includes a request to transition to an Enhanced Coverage (EC) mode, the UE may determine, based on parameters in the coverage mode transition request, an expected communication delay for transmission of a Reference Signal Time Difference (RSTD) measurement report. The UE may initiate transmission of the RSTD measurement report for the positioning measurement session at a second time not exceeding a specified RSTD measurement time. The second time may precede an RSTD measurement timeout time for the positioning measurement session by at least the expected communication delay. Disclosed embodiments also pertain to communication of the expected communication delay between a Location Server (e.g. Evolved Serving Mobile Location Center) and a Base Station (e.g. evolved NodeB) using Long Term Evolution Positioning Protocol Annex (LPPa) messages.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described relating to changes in an antenna configuration of a multi-antenna radio frequency (RF) transceiver between reference signal occasions. In one set of examples, a first antenna configuration at a first reference signal occasion of a first RF transmitter is stored, and if the antenna configuration has changed by the time a second reference signal occasion of the first (same) RF transmitter begins, the antenna configuration is switched back to the first antenna configuration. In another set of examples, compensation data to enable compensation between the first antenna configuration used to measure a first reference signal of a reference RF transmitter and a second antenna configuration used to measure a second reference signal of a neighboring (different) RF transmitter is retrieved and used when computing a time difference between the first and second reference signals.
