    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may receive a first control message including an indication of a first beam from a plurality of beams from a user equipment (UE) for communicating with the UE. The network entity may receive one or more signals associated with an object that has a trajectory that is predicted to interfere with the first beam. Based on receiving the one or more signals, the network entity may determine that the object will block the first beam. The network entity may transmit a second control message to the UE indicating a time duration that the object will interfere with the first beam and one or more communication parameters associated with the time duration. The UE may apply the one or more communication parameters during the time duration based on receiving the signal from the network entity.

    Abstract: An efficient scheme for suppression of base station NL is described. An apparatus is configured to provide, for a network node, an SNR indication for signals associated with the network node. The apparatus is configured to receive, from the network node, a NL indication based on the SNR indication, where the NL indication indicates an activation or deactivation of NL cancelation for the UE, and to demodulate data based on the NL indication. Another apparatus is configured to receive, from a UE, an SNR indication for signals associated with the network node. The apparatus is configured to provide, for the UE, a NL indication based on at least one of the SNR indication, a NL distortion level associated with the network node, or a thermal noise level associated with the network node, where the NL indication indicates an activation or deactivation of NL cancelation for the UE.

An example method may include transmitting, to a network node, information associated with a first quantity of effective downlink transmit (Tx) antennas associated with the UE.     Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow for a network entity such as a base station to configure odd modulation orders to be applied to downlink or uplink transmissions via signaling between the network entity and the UE. Initially, the network entity transmits a configuration to the UE indicating network support for communications using odd order modulation. Afterwards, the UE transmits, and the network entity receives, data in a signal using the odd order modulation. As a result, improved SPEF, PAPR reduction, and phase noise mitigation associated with odd order modulations may be realized through application of odd order modulations to data transmissions or receptions based on network support being configured for such odd order modulations.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may obtain from a user equipment (UE), a report that indicates one or more signal quality values associated with a set of communication chains of the UE. The network entity may perform a frequency domain residual sideband (FDRSB) identification procedure to determine an FDRSB correction table associated with a set of frequency bands and the set of communication chains. The network entity may output to the UE a control message indicating the FDRSB correction table that identifies which one or more frequency bands of the set of frequency bands and which one or more communication chains of the set of communication chains are associated with FDRSB correction. The UE may demodulate one or more messages via at least one communication chain of the set of communication chains based on FDRSB correction performed using the FDRSB correction table.
