In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may start a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) timer with a duration that is based at least in part on a timing of a sidelink discontinuous reception active state of the first UE.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for prioritization of sidelink-based positioning transmissions. A first UE may receive a request to initiate a sidelink positioning session with a second UE for which a sidelink positioning transmission will overlap in a time domain with communication between the first UE and a base station over a Uu access link. The first UE may transmit the sidelink positioning transmission if a first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is higher than a second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link. The first UE may adjust transmission of the sidelink positioning transmission if the first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is not higher than the second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for using information related to a sidelink to optimize operation on a cellular link. According to certain aspects, using a vehicle to everything (V2X) ID of a UE (or a device associated with the UE, such as a vehicle), a base station (e.g., a gNB) may obtain information about the UE from a roadside unit (RSU). The base station may use this information (e.g., UE location, speed, or path information) to help optimize cellular communications with the UE.
