    Abstract: A force sensor having a strain gauge array including force sensing electrodes arranged in a full-bridge configuration comprising at least two of a first resistor type and at least two of a second resistor type, wherein the at least two of the first resistor type form a first force sensing node and the at least two of the second resistor type form a second force sensing node, a processing system communicatively coupled to the force sensing electrodes, the processing system being configured to receive a first signal from the first force sensing node and a second signal from the second force sensing node, wherein the first signal includes a thermal response, and the second signal includes the thermal response and an applied force, and remove the thermal response by comparing the first and second signals to obtain the applied force.

    Abstract: Capacitive sensing includes concurrently driving a first transmitter electrode with a first transmitter signal and a second transmitter electrode with a second transmitter signal. The first transmitter signal is based on a first digital code and the second transmitter signal is based on a second digital code. The first digital code and the second digital code each include at least one non-integer multiple. Capacitive sensing further includes receiving resulting signals using multiple receiver electrodes, the resulting signals include effects of the first transmitter signal and the second transmitter signal. Capacitive sensing further includes determining positional information based on the resulting signals.

    Abstract: In a method of input object sensing, a plurality of transmitter electrodes are driven in a first way to acquire a first sub-frame image with the plurality of transmitter electrodes and a plurality of receiver electrodes of a sensor electrode pattern during a first sub-frame of a transcapacitive sensing frame.     Abstract: A semiconductor device comprises driver circuitry, an analog-digital (AD) converter, and processing circuitry. The driver circuitry is configured to supply a drive signal to a sensor array in a sensing frame comprising 2N bursts, N being an integer of two or more. The mixer circuitry is configured to modulate a plurality of carrier waves with a plurality of sensing signals corresponding to capacitances of a plurality of sensing electrodes of the sensor array, respectively, to output a plurality of mixer outputs. A number of the plurality of sensing electrodes is 2N−1 or 2N. The AD converter is configured to perform AD conversion on a sum signal of the plurality of mixer outputs.     Abstract: A semiconductor device comprises first mixer circuitry and processing circuitry. The first mixer circuitry is configured to generate a plurality of first mixer outputs through quadrature decomposition of a sensing signal. The first sensing signal corresponds to a capacitance of a first sensing electrode supplied with a drive signal. The quadrature decomposition is based on an in-phase local carrier which is in phase with the drive signal and an out-of-phase local carrier having a phase different from that of the in-phase local carrier. The plurality of first mixer outputs comprises an in-phase mixer output generated based on the in-phase local carrier and the sensing signal, and an out-of-phase mixer output generated based on the out-of-phase local carrier and the sensing signal.
