    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a first circuit board, a control unit disposed on the first circuit board, a second circuit board, and a coupling film which electrically couples the control unit and the second circuit board to each other. The coupling film includes a first coupling part including a first region attached to the first circuit board, and a second region overlapping the display panel when viewed in a thickness direction of the display panel, a second coupling part including a third region attached to the second circuit board, and a fourth region overlapping the display panel when viewed in the thickness direction of the display panel, and a third coupling part coupled to each of the second region and the fourth region to electrically couple the first coupling part and the second coupling part to each other.

    Abstract: An OLED display device includes display panel and a panel driver. The panel driver receives input image data at an input frame frequency and determines whether the input image data represent a still image. When the input image data do not represent the still image, the panel driver drives the display panel at a first output frame frequency substantially equal to the input frame frequency. When the input image data represent the still image, the panel driver drives the display panel at a second output frame frequency lower than the input frame frequency for a low frequency driving time and drives the display panel at a third output frame frequency higher than the second output frame frequency for a high frequency insertion time determined by one of a panel characteristic of the display panel and a representative gray level of the input image data, after the low frequency driving time.

    Abstract: Provided is a display device including a display panel, a data driving circuit configured to drive a plurality of data lines, a scan driving circuit configured to drive a plurality of scan lines, and a driving controller configured to determine an operation mode based on an input signal, and configured to control the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit in order to drive a first display region of the display panel at a first driving frequency and drive a second display region of the display panel at a second driving frequency while the operation mode is a multi-frequency mode, wherein the driving controller may change the operation mode to a compensation mode in which the second display region is periodically driven at the first driving frequency when the duration of the multi-frequency mode is greater than a reference time.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including pixels connected to data lines and scan lines, a data driving circuit which drives the data lines, a scan driving circuit which drives the scan lines, and a driving controller divides the display panel into first and second display regions, controls the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit to drive the first display region at a first driving frequency and to drive the second display region at a second driving frequency lower than the first driving frequency, and sets third driving frequencies respectively corresponding to horizontal lines in a boundary region, which is defined by a portion of the second display region adjacent to the first display region, during a multi-frequency mode. Each of the third driving frequencies has a frequency level between the first driving frequency and the second driving frequency.

    Abstract: A pixel circuit includes a main-circuit that controls an organic light-emitting element by controlling a driving current to flow into the organic light-emitting element and a sub-circuit including a first compensation transistor including a gate terminal which receives a first gate signal, a second compensation transistor including a gate terminal which receives a second gate signal, and an initialization transistor including a gate terminal which receives an initialization signal. Here, in a low-frequency driving mode, a driving frequency of the first gate signal is N hertz (Hz), a driving frequency of the initialization signal is N Hz, a driving frequency of the second gate signal is M Hz, the first compensation transistor and the initialization transistor are turned on during a first time duration in N non-light-emitting periods per second, and the second compensation transistor is turned on during a second time duration in M non-light-emitting periods per second.
