Abstract:
An apparatus for identifying a counterfeit bill is provided. The apparatus includes a camera module configured to receive a captured IR image of a bill; a binary image generator configured to generate a binary image of the bill, based on the IR image; a distance value calculator configured to compare a predetermined area of the binary image with a predetermined area of a pre-stored real bill database corresponding to the predetermined area of the binary image; and a corrected image generator configured to generate a corrected image based on a result of the comparison.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for receiving additional object information regarding a particular object in at least one frame from among a sequence of a plurality of frames included in image media are provided. The method includes receiving selection of a reference frame including a target object, and receiving selection of the target object in the reference frame; receiving, as an input, additional object information regarding the target object; tracking the target object in each of frames disposed subsequent to the reference frame in the sequence and frames prior to the reference frame in the sequence; extracting target object information from a result of tracking the target object; and building a target object-related information database including at least one of the additional object information regarding the target object and the extracted target object information.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for inputting characters using a touch keypad with a plurality of keys are provided, in which upon detection of a user's touch on one of the plurality of keys, a character corresponding to the touched key is acquired, a pop-up character set is generated using the acquired character and a character which has been completely input before the user's touch and displayed in an input character display area, and a touch pop-up including the pop-up character set is displayed in the vicinity of the touched key.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving a calligraphed writing message. Writing data is receiving as input at a transmitting apparatus. The writing data is sampled to generate character frame data having a plurality of point data. Calligraphy control point data is generated using the character frame data. The calligraphed writing message including the calligraphy control point data is generated and transmitted to a receiving apparatus. A calligraphy outline is generated at the receiving apparatus for generation of a calligraphed writing image using the calligraphy control point data from the calligraphed writing message. Graphic processing is performed on the calligraphy outline. The calligraphed writing image is generated and displayed.
