    Abstract: A method for releasing a semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) includes: receiving, by a PDSCH manager of a user equipment, a SPS release physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a scheduling cell, the SPS release PDCCH identifying N SPS PDSCH configuration indices to be released; identifying a slot of a scheduled cell, where the slot of the scheduled cell overlaps with the end of an ending symbol of the SPS release PDCCH; identifying M SPS PDSCH configuration indices including all configuration indices from among the N SPS PDSCH configuration indices that are scheduled in the slot; and releasing L SPS PDSCH configuration indices among the M SPS PDSCH configuration indices based on determining that the ending symbol of the SPS release PDCCH is before a corresponding ending symbol associated with each of the L SPS PDSCH configuration indices of the slot.

    Abstract: A method of implementing beam failure recovery for a multi-transmission-and-reception-point (M-TRP) transmission including a first transmission from a first TRP and a second transmission from a second TRP may include: receiving a first set of reference signals (RSs) corresponding to the first TRP and a second set of RSs corresponding to the second TRP; determining that the first set of RSs indicates a beam failure instance (BFI) specific to the first TRP, and responsively updating a first BFI counter specific to the first TRP; determining that a beam failure with respect to the first TRP has occurred based on a count of the first BFI counter equaling or surpassing a first BFI counter threshold; and performing a BFR process for the first TRP responsive to determining that the beam failure with respect to the first TRP has occurred.

    Abstract: A device, such as a UE, and a Transmit and Receive Point (TRP) in a High-Speed Train-Single Frequency Network (HST-SFN) are disclosed that provide network-assisted frequency-offset compensation for the device. The device includes a receiver that receives a first reference signal and a second reference signal sent over a wireless network from a first TRP. The first reference signal corresponds to a QCL RS of the second reference signal. The device receiver determines delay-spread and average-delay information for a path between the first TRP to the device based on the first reference signal. The device receiver further receives a third reference signal from a second TRP that includes Doppler-shift and Doppler-spread information, and corresponds to a QCL RS of a fourth reference signal transmitted from the second TRP or corresponds to the second reference signal transmitted in a SFN manner from the first TRP.

    Abstract: A system and method for setting blind detection and control channel element monitoring limits in a carrier aggregation scheme. In some embodiments, the method includes: receiving, by a network from a first user equipment (UE), a declaration of capabilities of the first UE; sending, by the network, to the first UE, a first search space (SS) configuration for a first component carrier in a carrier aggregation (CA) scheme; and sending, by the network, to the first UE, a second search space configuration for a second component carrier in the carrier aggregation scheme. The first search space configuration may define a first set of monitoring occasions, the second search space configuration may define a second set of monitoring occasions (MOs), and an aligned span pattern, corresponding to the first set of monitoring occasions and the second set of monitoring occasions, may comply with the declaration of capabilities of the first UE.

    Abstract: A method and a user equipment (UE) are provided for explicitly linking repeated physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs). The UE receives the repeated PDCCHs from a network. Each of the repeated PDCCHs include downlink control information (DCI) that schedules reception of a same physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) at the UE. The UE links the repeated PDCCHs having common PDCCH candidate numbers across search space (SS) sets of a control resource set (CORESET). The repeated PDCCHs are received in accordance with the UE and the network communicating using a multi-transmission and reception point (TRP) repetition scheme or a multi-TRP multi-chance scheme.
