Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for providing dynamic power sharing at a user equipment (UE). A first uplink transmission is configured. An offset is determined from a starting symbol of the first uplink transmission. Based on the offset, a group of overlapping uplink transmissions on one or more component carriers (CCs) is defined. The group of overlapping uplink transmission include at least the first uplink transmission. A total power is shared among uplink transmissions in the group of overlapping uplink transmissions.

The method includes receiving a scheduling of an uplink (UL) signal on a target cell that collides with a UL signal on a source cell; determining a time duration from an ending symbol of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling the UL signal on the target cell; determining that a first symbol of the UL signal on the source cell is after the time duration from the ending symbol of the PDCCH; and dropping at least a portion of the UL signal on the source cell in response to determining that the first symbol of the UL signal on the source cell is after the time duration from the ending symbol of the PDCCH.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for providing dynamic power sharing at a user equipment (UE). A first uplink transmission is configured on a secondary cell group (SCG). An offset from a starting symbol of the first uplink transmission is determined, by the UE, based on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) preparation time for a PUSCH timing capability. Based on the offset, a group of overlapping uplink transmissions on a master cell group (MCG) is defined. A total power is shared among uplink transmissions in the group of overlapping uplink transmissions on the MCG and the first uplink transmission on the SCG.
